We dined at Reel Fresh Restaurant last week. I had the shrimp scampi, and my husband had the crab cakes. Everything was excellent! We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who hasn’t been there yet. It has been under new ownership since the restaurant reopened a few months ago.

Unfortunate… Fraudulent… Make sure you check your bank statement against the actual charge for your purchase. My family went to the restaurant for my nephew’s birthday. The meal was just okay, but the fraudulent tip was worse. I left the server the appropriate tip for my check. A few weeks later while reviewing my bank statement, I noticed the charge for the restaurant was much higher. The server increased his tip by close to an additional $20. I called to speak to the manager, which the assistant manager spoke with me. He took my name & number stating the actual manager would call me to handle the matter. Several weeks passed and I still did not receive the manager’s call. Since I am not from the area, I was not able to go to the restaurant myself. I continued to call and finally did speak with the manager. He was EXTREMELY RUDE and claimed that I was lying about the situation. After having my bank research and submit a claim against the purchase, the manager was forced to comply because the signed card slip showed the actual tip and cost, compared to the fraudulent purchase amount the server inflated by adding his own suggested tip. Needless to say, I would never recommend this restaurant. Not only is the food and service undesirable, the staff decides for you how much you want to tip and take it upon themselves to freely spend your money.

I went to this place with my grandfather and we found that the food, service, and facilities were great! Likely the best restaurant in Dover, if not the whole state! Also, it’s not just for seafood! If you’re looking for a mix of seafood and steak, this is the perfect place!

My husband and I had dinner at Reel Fresh, wow were we pleased. Everything was excellent. The food was fresh (shrimp and tuna) and done to perfection. We will definitely go back. Atmosphere and wait staff were wonderful.

My husband and I went here on Valentine’s Day. We were skeptical because we are not from Delaware and didn’t know what restaurants were good to eat from . Any who I googled good places to eat in Delaware near where we were and this restaurant popped up. We ordered the porter house, fried oysters, twice baked potato, asparagus, King crab legs and a very berry cake . The food was fresh , cooked to perfection and was delicious. We will definitely be back !

The had seared Ahi tuna and it was great! My husband had the salmon, another lady had shrimp scampi and love it. Someone had the filet mignon and said it cooked perfectly. All on a it was great. The service was a tiny bit slow but we enjoyed the wine while we waited so it was fine.

Got the French dip and crab cakes. The dip was okay, but the crab cakes where terrible. I understand some shells are to be expected, but every bite was full of them to the point i was done trying after a few bites. Will never get it again. And price wise id rather go elsewhere as well

This place was a great stop on my way home. The steak was perfect (ordered rare) and the fish was exquisite. Even the bread was good. I will be eating here again in my way through.
