really wanted to like this spot, but the food just isn’t where it needs to be. The wings were extremely oversized and thick, almost like they were pumped up, and there is no way in the world these were properly fried. They came out with a texture that felt more boiled than crispy — which is unacceptable for an Atlanta wing spot. That’s just not how wings are supposed to be done out here.
The fried rice was bland with no seasoning or flavor at all. For the price they’re charging — the same as every other shop in the area — the quality should be much higher.
I used to wonder why this restaurant was always empty… now I understand why.
What really should’ve been a sign is that this place doesn’t have many reviews and is already sitting at one star. That usually tells you everything you need to know. I still gave them a chance, but the food didn’t justify the cost, especially when Atlanta has so many better options.
This isn’t meant to be rude — just honest feedback so the next person doesn’t waste their money, and hopefully so the business can improve. Atlanta has high standards for wings, and I hope they take this seriously and step it up.

Shay provided outstanding customer service during my visit to Hapeville Fish and Chicken. She was friendly, patient, and very attentive, making the experience welcoming from start to finish.
What truly stood out was her kindness toward my son, who is on the autism spectrum. I allowed him to place and pay for his own order, and Shay was incredibly helpful, pleasant, and respectful while assisting him. Her patience and warm demeanor made a meaningful difference for both of us.
Shay truly set the tone for the entire restaurant, and her customer service reflects positively on the establishment as a whole.
Five stars for me.

Okayyy Hapeville Chicken & Wings! The food is —crispy fish, wings done right (whole and cut), and fried rice that I keep going back for. The tartar sauce and yum yum sauce? Don’t sleep on it.
Everything is cooked to order, and the wait time is totally reasonable—well worth it for food that comes out piping hot and nicely seasoned every time.
Shoutout to Shay, because her service is top-tier. Easily the best server I’ve had in the area—friendly, attentive, and just all-around great energy. (And she’s an Outcast fan )
The place is super clean, spacious, and comfortable… and let me just say, the restrooms were shockingly clean (A+). Between the food, the service, and the vibe, they’ve officially made me a regular. I’ll definitely be back!

Went in & discovered they sell great burgers and fries. SOOOO much better than any fast food chain and made to order fresh for much less. Interior is stark and uninviting but the menu offers a lot more than fish and chicken! I didn’t know that based on the sign..

We love this place. Price vs quantity is amazing. Its always made fresh, tastes great and the house made yum-yum sauce is top tier. Inside is clean but we do always take it to go. Definitely worth a stop if you’re looking some bang for your buck.

So glad I finally decided to stop by this place!! The food was sooooo good! Wings were perfect unlike most places around here that have super skinny wings. The cashier was welcoming, friendly and helpful. 10/10 I highly recommend! I will be going back for sure.

I usually eat here 1-3 times a week. Whether lunch or for dinner. The portions are great and the price is fair. I get the same thing everytime. Buffalo Wings and shrimp/chicken fried rice combo. And if you haven’t had their in house yum-yum sauce you are missing out!!
