The staff was very friendly and attentive. The sushi was top notch, very fresh and unique flavors as well. The sushi bar could use a little tlc. There was a giant roll of cellophane on the bar which was not very nice to look at. And you can see right into the dishwasher area which was extremely distracting. Put a nice curtain up with some Japanese art or something. Will definitely return but will not sit at the bar unless some small improvements are made.

Most amazing place for sushi in all of placer and Nevada county. They have incredible appetizers and amazing fresh rolls without the cheap fake crab salad in the rolls. The truffle sashimi is hands down the most amazing. My boyfriend loves the pork belly appetizer. And the shooters are unique and so delicious. Definitely something not available everywhere else in California. The servers are super attentive and we just absolutely can’t wait to go back!!? Ask for McKayla as your waitress she is super knowledgeable and will guide you on a tastebud adventure. Seriously guys. Do this. You wont regret it!!!

Excellent food as always! Everything keeps getting better and I love all the new menu items. Service (Belle) was stellar and the atmosphere is modern and elegant! The Cowboy Sashimi was out of this world, all of the sauces are unique and delicious, and I love that they have vegan and vegetarian options too, something for everyone! I’ll be back next week, and the week after and so on!! ❤️

No wait time for 2 people on a Saturday night. Sushi was fresh. Rolls were delicious. They informed us that they were out of unagi after we ordered a roll with it, but the chef replaced it with salmon and it was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

This place was FANTASTIC! The best sushi I have ever had. Great friendly authentic service. Fresh food and food for kids and people who don’t like sushi. A burger, steaks, chicken. The menu is creative local and very fresh. I would highly recommend it and come again.

All organic sushi restaurant in beautiful Nevada City. The hosts and servers are all incredibly kind and helpful and back staff are so sweet. The fish is fresh and sauces all hand made and amazing! Family owned establishment that you can feel 🙂

Even if you aren’t a sushi lover, they have some of the best steak, chicken, or hamburger dishes as well for those “fish are friends” folks;) I recommend the Steak Sashimi!

Thank you Nourish

Wanted to try out this place since I drive by it often. Great service and Dragon Rolls, Poke bowl was a little different from what we are used to. 15% service charge for take out is over the top. $53.00 for a Dragon roll & Poke bowl. Staying home has it’s benefits.

This is my second try under new ownership and it was worse than the first…I won’t be coming back again. It’s extremely disappointing because I loved the original nourish so much.

Please see my photographs…this meal (one roll, one hand roll, 8 pieces of sashimi) cost 70 DOLLARS!!! Over 20 dollars for the roll alone, which is TINY. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

I could feel better about those prices if the food was higher quality but it’s just NOT. My sashimi ($22) was extremely thin, poorly cut (basically falling apart in strings) and way too lean. The amazing PERFECT spicy Mayo they used to have has been replaced with a grainy vegan sauce that adds nothing. My hand roll (TWENTY DOLLARS – INSANE) has a shrimp tail sticking out the top!?

I honestly think you’re dishonestly gouging your customers. This was a flat out rip off and I’m still hungry (and frankly, angry) after my 70 dollar dinner. Go to sushi in the raw, where you can get twice as much food for this price and have a far better experience.

The food was pretty good, but the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. The lighting consisted mostly of overhead ceiling fans with a few scattered red bulbs, which created a harsh and uninviting feel. While the plants were a nice touch, the bright white walls and lack of wall decor made the space feel more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. For me, interior design plays a big role in the overall dining experience, and despite the decent food, the vibe was off enough that I probably wouldn’t return.

Prices also felt high for what was offered. Most rolls were around $20, and the burger was $27. On the positive side, we especially enjoyed the pork belly appetizer and the Osaka roll.
