OUT-FREAKIN-STANDING
You know how it is. When traveling, you like to get food at cool fancy places. Sadly, on this trip I hadn’t been feeling well in the days prior. Wanted to eat but sure didn’t want to go into too much work. This place was right beside the hotel so figured we’d just grab something there.
It is AWESOME! The chicken pot pie soup was perfect. Everything was outstanding. So much so, the next day when my son graduated from NSI at the Naval Base, we went back there for lunch. No complaints of any kind!

What a lovely place, and fantastic service. I have only just discovered Potbelly, and visited this store twice while I was in town. Both sandwiches were delicious. Just this morning I enjoyed my freebie for signing up, and the team were just as gracious and friendly, keen to ensure that I thoroughly enjoyed my delicious turkey sandwich… which I did! Traditional Hot sub sandwiches that are amazing and delicious. Wonderful and fast customer service inside and outside while using the drive-thru. Great unique chips. Live music is sometimes being played. Plenty of parking. A but of a hassle exiting the parking lot since Starbucks shares the exit, so be careful.

I had a very disappointing experience at Potbelly today. The staff member with the ear piercing was extremely rude and dismissive. When I politely asked to remove bacon from my Chicken Club sandwich, he reacted with an irritated and unpleasant attitude. I felt very uncomfortable and disrespected despite speaking courteously.
Customer service should always be about respect and kindness, and unfortunately, that was completely missing here. Please ensure your employees are trained to treat customers with professionalism. I won’t be returning to this location, and I’ll be sharing my experience with friends to make them aware.
Learn how to behave, especially you the guy with the ear piercing. Being rude to polite customers is unacceptable.

Tried Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Waukegan and overall we liked it. The order/payment process seemed like it needed some work. We had to repeat our order to 3 different people before we could pay. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly. They did have several vegetarian options to pick from as well.

I placed an order online for a Broccoli Cheddar soup and a chocolate milkshake. The milkshake looked like it was frozen ice cream. I wasn’t able to drink the milkshake since it was hard as rock, and unfortunately had to trash it. I had someone else pick up my order so I couldn’t complain about it at the time

The sandwiches are super expensive but good. What I can’t stand is the temperature in here. The air conditioning is on full blast and it’s freezing cold in here. If I walk in this place again and it’s like this, I’m leaving. For what you pay to eat here I expect to be comfortable
