Oh my god… This place is amazing, the food is great and the service is fantastic. People say the floor is sticky, but the floor is not sticky and cleaned nicely. The atmosphere is very nice and comfortable, not high class and not dirty and bad. I have come here before and it never disappoints, I love it here. I will definitely come again.

Excellent experience. Came with a group of 5, including 1 child. The waitress/host was very friendly, professional, and helpful. She even gave a flower to the child in the group who loved it. Our chef was exceptional as well. Food was cooked perfectly, he was very funny and friendly. With all the usual hibachi fan fare and more! 10/10 must try and we will definitely be returning.

Waited for 30 minutes had reservations and they said they only had 4 people. We spent over $500 in our group and they would not honor my mother’s buy one get one coupon. This place lost all of our business. They served us on dirty grills.

Went last night – 8/12, a Saturday and the place was almost empty with only two tables seated and already eating.
We had a big group for a birthday party and it felt as if the place is in its last stages of closing down. There are only three employees in the whole place – the owner(?) and two cooks. There were no servers, waitresses or bartenders.
Anyways from sitting to eating it was about an hour and that was with nobody else coming into the restaurant while we were there.
Because of the size of the group, we sat on two tables next to each other and one of the cooks was great but the other one didn’t hardly speak so it kinda killed the mood for that whole table.
Besides the lack of an atmosphere the food was average and the place just felt completely unwelcoming.
We made the best of it but I wish it had been more energetic.
Probably won’t be back.

Went as a family of four for mother’s Day. We should have left when we saw that the place was totally empty on what should have been a busy day. They set us at a table and we waited about 20 minutes to have our order taken. Then they waited for another family of four to be seated before they would start cooking our food so we waited about 45 minutes before our food started. One of the hibachi chefs was making crass/political jokes. Our chef was nice and friendly. The food was ok. I was charged for a drink I ordered but didn’t get. It’s otherwise dirty with boxes and supplies stacked everywhere. Will not be back.

Definitely impressed with how the cleanliness has improved! We come here many times of year (for holidays, birthdays, cravings, etc) and the food and service were the ONLY reason we kept coming… even though it could’ve been much cleaner. But coming lately, the floors are much better, hoods aren’t dripping and the tables aren’t sticky! So happy we can continue to keep coming back (maybe even more now), and very excited that they are getting back to what it was like when I FIRST came here (years ago).

The wait was great. We were seated immediately. We op-ed out of the hibachi and just got a table, but the service was excellent. The server took good care of us and the food was served right when we finished our warm sake. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Will return soon.

The food was excellent. The service was lousy. We were quoted one price by our server. They brought our bill out and the price was much more than we thought. We were told that thetly don’t combine discounts. That is fine, as long as we are told upfront. We ordered things that we would not have ordered if they allowed what our server said they did. Also, the floor is very dirty and sticky. It was so bad, my one year old dropped her pacifier and we purposefully left it on the floor because we didn’t think we could get it clean. It’s too bad the food was so good. It overall was a huge disappointment. We’ll not be going back again.

This place is under New Management, and boy is Kevin doing a great job! We came last night and honestly this location is our favorite hibachi to go to, we’ve been to independence and breaksville, but none add up to the experience we got here. The staff was great, our server she was on top of everything-never left me with half or less of my Pepsi. And the food was delicious. Everything was clean, and everyone was just so kind. Very, very impressed and we will be back. Keep up the good work!
