I came here for the grand opening special and got the $6.99 chicken bowl and drink. It was off the hook very tender chicken and flavorful. Just look at the portion!! I found out the $6.99 special goes until Feb 5. TWO WEEKS! I’ll certainly be back and bring my friends.

The food is amazing and the prices are amazing. Best chicken I’ve had in Hayward.
However, on one of our visits we ordered to go and they had called us after we left and were half way home saying that they forgot to pack the dumplings we paid for and to mention it on our next visit.
The following week we called for a pick up order and mentioned the dumplings and were told that they weren’t going to provide the dumplings they’d forgotten to pack in our order last time.
After arguing about it for a few minutes the employee said they would add it to our order and said that we will have to provide proof next time

Teriyaki City Grill in Hayward is such a great find! The food was fresh, flavorful, and made to order. The chicken teriyaki was perfectly grilled with just the right amount of sauce, and the portions were generous.
Everything tasted high quality, and the service was friendly and efficient. You can tell they care about the food they’re serving. Definitely a solid spot if you’re craving something satisfying and delicious.

Overall a tasty meal. We ordered a ribeye, chicken bento box with a 4 piece crab roll. A spicy chicken bowl and a teriyaki sushi roll with 2 drink for a total of $52.
It was a tasty, satisfying meal that filled you up. The service was quick although the cashier could have been nicer and there could have been more information about the special deals and rewards program.
I would come back here again for the sushi because the teriyaki roll was HUGE.
