You can’t go wrong with Morettis. Been here a number of times and it’s always good. The Mac and cheese pizza was shockingly great, and everything else I’ve had there has been good too. They have daily specials- recently went on a Wednesday which was their martini special. The bartender, Joselyn, is wonderful. Will definitely be back.

This was my second time dining at Moretti’s in Wheeling, and I’m glad I gave it another try. It’s a solid 4.5 experience. We were welcomed warmly and seated immediately on a Friday night (I still made a reservation on OpenTable just in case). Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The menu has a wide variety with something for everyone, and the drinks came exactly as ordered. Hot food served hot, cold drinks served cold. Kudos to bar and kitchen staff!! Job well done.
However, one huge area for improvement: better service needed including more frequent check-ins from servers. Simple things “may I get you anything else? How are your meals? Another drink? Here’s some extra napkins or plates. Any dessert?”
In our section, several guests were kept searching around for assistance. I know serving is a tough job, and those small basics really make a difference. I hope that once I return, the servers = better service to change this to 5-stars.
Overall, a solid dining experience with great food and atmosphere, and I’ll definitely be back.

The service was extremely poor. If it were possible to give a zero-star rating, I would do so without hesitation. To begin with, we waited 45 minutes to be seated, despite being only two people. The waitress did not approach our table until my husband had to get up and look for someone to assist us.
When she finally came to take our drink order, we requested a beer, a soda, and an appetizer. The drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive, and the appetizer was not served until the main dishes were brought out. We ordered a pizza and a pasta; however, the pasta that was initially served was incorrect, which resulted in an even longer wait for the correct dish.
While the food itself was very good, the service was unacceptable and completely overshadowed the dining experience, leaving a very negative impression.

I drove from Georgia for this, Moretti’s feels like the kind of place where the locals actually hang out, and that’s always a good sign.
I drove 11+ hours all the way from Georgia to eat here, and honestly, let me just say: zero regrets.? I’d do it again tomorrow. The deep-dish was less “pizza” and more “architectural achievement.” So much cheese I thought gravity might fail.
The deep-dish pizza was exactly what I wanted—cheesy, saucy, and heavy enough to make me rethink my life choices (in the best way). The crust held up like a champ, and every slice was loaded. Wings? ️ ️ I didn’t try then but my sister did? She said they were Crispy outside, juicy inside, and packed with flavor. Pair it all with a lemoncello, unsweetened tea and peach lemonade and you’re set.
What surprised me most was the atmosphere—big, lively, and welcoming. It’s the kind of spot you could come for a casual dinner or a big redgame night, it works either way. Service was quick, friendly, and made me feel right at home even though I’d just rolled in from out of state.

Went over the weekend and had an amazing time. While it was busy, we were seated quickly and our server Emily was amazing! She was very informative on the menu and made our dinner feel special. She gave us great suggestions as this was the first time we came here. Would definitely come back and try more options given by Emily!

Friendly service, food is good. We ordered bruschetta as appetizer bread was cold and a bit saggy, tomatoes were not the freshest but at least they had good flavor. Main dishes we were ok. We ordered some mix drinks and I don’t know if they don’t have a bartender but none of our drinks were good. If we visit again would order beer or wine.

Finally decided to try Moretti’s and we are glad we did. Hostess were very welcoming and friendly! Servers were nice too, on Friday we were there for lunch, drinks were good, bruschetta as an appetizer was great, warm crispy bread and flavorful diced tomatoes. We were not rushed to order which we appreciated. Sunday went back again to watch the game we sat by the bar and the servers were friendly, order their wings and a Hawaiian pizza it was delicious. Fresh veggies with the wings was a plus. Servers made sure we were well taken care of, definitely coming back, yes might be our new favorite place.

I had a catering order through Moretti’s Wheeling and I was very happy with everything! From the customer service to the food quality and food delivery – everything was a five star experience. Stella who is in the catering department, took my order over the phone and made it a seamless transaction! She answered all my questions, repeated the order to ensure there were no mistakes, and gave me good party planning suggestions on how much to order. Food delivery was on time and brought everything well packaged. The food order was warm and Moretti’s Wheeling gave me everything I needed to host the party: pans, heaters, serving utensils. I ordered Italian beef & sausage, marinara pasta, chicken tenders, & chopped salad. Food was delicious! Guests raved about how good everything was.
