WOW! I wish could give 15 stars! We were invited to a 70th birthday party in San Marcos last Saturday, and these great people were catering the event. I grew up in San Jose, CA. and have had lots of authentic Mexican food. I moved to Austin in 1990, and this is hands down the best Mexican (and top 3 in San Jose) that I’ve ever had in Austin. The two, Mother and daughter working hard and living the dream made our experience even better. Please do yourself a favor and call them for your next catering event, even if it’s a smaller gathering. You’ll be happy you did. Great food and great service!

The food was really good. Service was good, I dont speak Spanish and none of the people seemed to speak English so that was a little bit of work to order but they were really patient and we got it figured out!! Definitely my new spot!

They only do steak tacos no steak burritos and the person here shot me looks the whole time I spoke my whiteboy Spanish.

Super bummed wanted this to be a regular spot since it’s so close

Edit: lowered my rating from 2 stars to 1 star after a SINGLE bite of my taco. Trash, do not spend your money here

Love the food here!! My buddy accidentally found this place on a third party food delivery app. I told him I was looking for some real deal Mexican food and he highly suggested that I come here. Boy was he right!!

Got dinner via UberEATS, the birra tacos were delicious, elote in cup good but they got the perfect Strawberry and Crema recipe down. Their menu offered catering large party taco trays and I’ll keep that in mind for the future.

If you’re not Mexican you will not receive a warm greeting – 5 mini tacos states $14 on the board however you will be charged an extra $1 for whatever reason . I only went through with it because I didn’t feel like driving to a better location and I figured wth service might be bad but the food might be bussin which.. it was okay but for 16.50 ( after leaving a 1.50 tip) no it wasn’t worth it the meat was skimpy and super greasy I purchased this at 11am/12pm? I’m not drinking I’m not sure why it was so greasy . While I was waiting a couple did approach but seen the service and menu board and just walked away . I don’t care for the patrons who they’re targeting but those who are trying something new . I wouldn’t return to this food truck but it was worth a try .

What a little hidden gem! The tacos and agua fresca doesn’t disappoint. El pastor, bistec, and mango agua Fresca is our go to. Their salsa is also like spicy which I love!!

They have Tepache!!! If you don’t know what that is, don’t worry about it. Just drink it! It’s so refreshing! (It’s a drink made out of fermented pineapple). The flavor is very similar to kombucha. I also had their pambazo which is technically a torta that is fried in a red sauce. You would think that’ll make it soggy, right? WRONG! Somehow the bread ends up crispy on the outside. I got beef as my filling. It was outrageously delicious
