I do not normally leave really bad reviews. However, my visit today warrants a very bad review. I have been coming to Gregg’s since 1991 with few breaks. The only good thing on today’s visit was the guacamole dip. Now Gregg’s has had a lock on the best guacamole dip since the 90s. Now for the rest. The taco salad was, meh. I could get a better salad elsewhere, even Taco Hell, uh, Taco Bell. The worst thing was the service or lack of service. When I came in, the waiter passed my table several times before he took my drink order. Then he finally brought my drink and took my order. The only other time he stopped at my table was to drop off my ticket and that was after I had barely started on my Taco Salad. He never asked if I wanted anything else. I ran out of Diet Coke and needed a refill. I sat my empty glass to the outside edge of the table as a signal for refill. He passed by my table 3 times and ignored my empty glass. I finally gave up and paid for my meal and left. He did NOT get a tip from me. I know what service staff go through and I tip very well. However, his service was totally subpar, especially with the restaurant having only 4 or 5 tables occupied and he only had three of the tables. Gregg’s lost a long time customer today.

Went to dinner with my family and we only saw our waitress three times. We didn’t receive drink refills and the chips were stale. The rice was over peppered and the guacamole was extremely runny.

This not so fancy looking establishment provided an oh so tasty dining experience!! The classic burger was delicious and the house special was a combination of chicken,steak, shrimp served on rice with pepper, onions and seasoned just perfectly.

Just wanted to take the time and give a huge shoutout to Jeremy and his team at Gregg’s 2.0. SERVPRO of Houston County is on a huge job right now with a few hundred people working. Jeremy’s team provided us with hot meals on more than one occasion. Don’t sleep on their burgers, they are seasoned and cooked perfectly! Thank to the Gregg’s 2.0 staff and cooks for a job well done!

I have never seen so much cheese dip in my life. We ordered two large bowls for 8 people and couldn’t have possibly finished it. The food was amazing. Everything we ordered was so good. The service was great. They kept chips and salsa on the tables and our drinks never got low. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this family friendly restaurant.

This was my first bad probably last time eating here. Aside from not being warned about the hot plate and almost burning my hand, the food was sub par. On a side note they just got a 100 grade on their cleanliness review so that is a great thing.
They give you a free salsa and chips so I ordered cheese dip and guacamole. I got a combination plate with a burrito and a chili relleno and it came with a side of rice and beans.
The cheese dip was ok, did not have much flavoring to or seem like a queso dip. The guacamole was not my favorite. It was a creamy guacamole and tasted like they put mayo in it and it over powered the avocado.
The meat in the burrito was not seasoned and was bland, the chili relleno was ok and had the same beef as what the burrito had. Rice and beans were ok as well.
The waitress did not deliver our food but the person who did failed to tell me that my plate was EXTREMELY HOT!!! I almost burnt my hand on the plate. On top of that it took like 10 mins to get our check after we were done eating. I will not be going back here.

Wait, was that even Mexican food? That was my thought after having the chicken fajitas. It was really just grilled pepper chicken with grilled veggies. There wasn’t a hint of Mexican spices, no cumin, no oregano, no chili powder. Simply salt and plenty of pepper. My chips were pretty stale so I skipped em. The guacamole tasted and looked just like the guacamole you get from a jar on the chip aisle at the grocery store. The beans had a nice skin to them like they had been sitting a while and the rice was dry with a few crunchy pieces. I will say, after stirring some salsa into the beans they turned out ok and the shredded cheese and the lettuce that came as a side with the fajitas was pretty good.

This continues to be my go to Mexican restaurant. Tonight my wife got the House Special and loved it. I always get an encherito and it was so good. And there is so much we always have to get a to go box. So happy you guys are back open. Great waitresses and super food. And they have two outdoor tables which we appreciated. In the pic, I cut mine in two because I shouldn’t eat all of it. But I wanted to!

We ordered 4 mixed fajitas and 1 steak fajita to be picked up with a large salsa, guacamole, and chips. We live less than 10 min away. Food was stone cold, and side servings were no more than a tablespoon. Honestly they looked like leftovers from lunch! And when did guacamole go up to $14.99! Unbelievable! Won’t be back! What a ripoff at $114.42! PS. The food wasn’t ready when we got there and we had to wait for it to be cooked per the cashier!

Ordered the game day platter for UGA on Saturday. All the food was hot and delicious and ready before the game. Tacos were out of this world. Boneless wings were great. Chips and salsa were awesome and taquitos were yummy. Will be getting this again and returning to dine in the future.
