First of all the Carnitas are very good, the Tacos are filled with alot of meat i was really full with 3 tacos. Good prices as well. I have went thier 3 times and loved the food the ONLY downfall is they do take forever. The meat is cooked and ready yet they take like 10 min to prepare 3 tacos.. they should have it diced up and ready specially if they see it’s lunch time.. if they fixed this issue I would be perfect

Bought chicharones. They weren’t very good, i would say they were not freshly made!. We bought some last week and they were fresh and very good. That is why we went back this morning.

Found out about this place from a recommendation from Facebook and they were right. Very tasty and soft carnitas. We showed up after 1pm and they still had a good selection of carnitas. They also offer homemade tortillas at $4 dozen if not, they have packs of tortillas from a tortilleria too(not sure on price) we got homemade and they were good. Chicharrones were super crispy and good too. Carnitas are like $10/lb but worth it. This is our go too place now. La montaña meat market who!

My rating is slightly more than just four stars because of the good flavor of the food.
I had carnitas and asked for pork skin to be added. The server piled on the pork skin so it seemed that I had more of the skin than actual meat. The taste however, was good on both.
I also ordered menudo and asked for corn (hominy) to be added. The server piled on the corn so it seemed that half of the container was corn and not menudo. Once again, the taste was very good. I will say that it did have a little too much grease on the top of the soup though.
I think the flavors are there but what I received based on the above, could have given me a better overall experience. I went there for carnitas and menudo which should have been what I received the most of and not the sides (pork skin and hominy).
Fix the ratios of what is served and this would definitely be a five star location!
