Daddy Cate’s Coffees is a family owned and operated independent coffee shop in Historic Downtown Brunswick, Georgia. We serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks as well as Nitro Fusion, Kombucha and Cold Brew. Try one of our fresh-baked muffins or scones! We make sandwiches and salads daily. If you’re looking to enjoy a great coffee in a really cool downtown area, this is your place. The iced latte’s were awesome, the service was amazing and, the downtown area was a great place to walk around while enjoying our coffees. There is also a park nearby that has some information about the Liberty Ships that were built in this area during WWII. Highly recommend getting off of I-95 and visiting this area. Lots to explore!

We went to Daddy Cates for the first time and I have to commend them. Their latte was delicious but more importantly it was HOT and stayed hot for quite a while. I get so frustrated these days with coffees that arrive warm and then are cold before you can finish them. I also got an egg and cheese croissant and it was delicious!

I come here for the iced coffee, it’s the best I’ve ever had! The prices here are fair for coffee but a little high for the food. They are in no rush at this coffee shop though, so be prepared to wait a minute. If the owner isn’t there, it is unorganized and hectic. It is a very small place and is easily crowded but there is outdoor seating available.

They cater to coffee addicts like myself who enjoy a smooth brew and cozy environment. They offer a few non-dairy milk options in addition to the traditional milks. I highly recommend the oat milk for anyone who prefers a plant based option. There are a few comfy chairs and cafe tables to enjoy your drink or bakery item. They have a selection of scones, cakes, muffins, and cookies all made fresh every day. My personal favorites are the cranberry orange muffins and the chocolate espresso muffins. Whether you grab and go, or snuggle up for a bit to read and reflect, Daddy Cate’s Coffee is a great little spot.
