Due to an issue with our original dinner plans, we decided to take a round 2 trip through The Pines Dine food pods and try some more food – Smoked Out Sandwiches was our selection! We decided to get two totally different styles of sandwiches, which was the Pastrami Reuben and the Banh Mi.
Wait time was about 20-25 minutes and the gal inside was very nice and upbeat when she took our order and giving us our order. We took the food home (about a 7 minute drive), knowing that the sandwiches may not hold up. We were surprised to see they did!
The biggest thing for both of us is bread integrity and both sandwiches passed with flying colors. There was ZERO SOGGY BREAD! The sandwiches smelt wonderful and as they should for each respective style, the bites were firm and tasty, and the bread tasted fresh.
Overall – these are solid sandwiches for a food truck that can easily get lost in the mix at a food pod. Highly recommend Smoked Out Sandwiches – we will definitely be back to try some more of their sandwiches on our next trip back.

So far I have been here twice. The first time I tried their pulled pork sandwich and it was really really good. The second time I went I had the Spicy Chicken Banh Mi sandwich and lemme tell you, I ate it almost a week ago and I can’t stop thinking about it, absolutely delicious! I WILL BE BACK.

The sandwiches were huge healthy portions, my boys each had the Italian and my mom in law had the meatball sandwich. They all raved about it and wanted more. We went back a couple of days later to get a pulled pork sandwich and Mac salad. Superb!!
