This Panera Bread location has always had a special place in my heart because of what my mom has shared about her experience at the hospital. The food is comforting and familiar, which really matters in a hospital environment.

I’ve Been Going To Different Paneras For A Long Time, and This By Far Has Been The BEST Service! Anthony Was Upfront By Himself and This Location At The Hospital Was Very Busy, But He Provided Excellent Service! Above and Beyond What I Would Normally Expect! He Was Extremely Friendly The Entire Time! Even As Busy As He Was He Brought My Food To The Table I Was Seated At. I Was Expecting Someone To Call Out My Name. Service From Anthony Was So Good, He Deserved To Be Praised On Here!

I think you have to be careful not to judge this Panera location based on comparison with larger locations. This is venue is housed within the Fairfax NOVA hospital and primarily serves the patients and their visitors and employees within. There isn’t much space within for gathering. There are kiosks for quick ordering and you can use your app. I visited on a Wednesday morning and found an abundance of mobile orders waiting to be picked up in the pick up area. The young staff is friendly and my orders were accurate and satisfying for my morning purchase and when I returned for another lunch purchase. I plan to return during my stay here.

Had their limited time steak bagel sandwich which was pretty good! The order didn’t take long and everyone was polite that I interacted with. Table was a little dirty but wasn’t a big deal.

I ordered my favorite soup, one cup of cappuccino and a blueberry scone. The scone wasn’t available, and at the pick-up area, they said the steam-machine doesn’t work – no coffee. That was frustrating, I asked for a refund. The manager completed my refund, offered fresh coffee, and presented a bag of small scones. That was very nice and my mood became better.

If i gave one star it’s because of the serene surroundings . I ordered on several occasions and I felt like barfing. Mediocre is not even the word to describe it the food is bland. No flavor whatsoever, this food should be served in a nursing home or something Panera to me is a last resort if you have NOTHING absolutely Nothing else to buy outside. My goodness.

Went to this location this morning for breakfast, place my order and pay for a cold drink. The gentleman gave me a small cup and walked away. Usually they give me a larger cup or ask me if I want a small or large drink. It was busy so I think He just assumed that cup was ok which can happen. However, when I realized it was a small cup and I needed a larger drink, I kindly went back to the cashier and ask to get a larger cup, even offered to pay extra if necessary. This time it was a young probably Latino lady at the register. She was super unfriendly and just gave me unnecessary attitude with a terrible look, telling me I SHOULD HAD ASKED OR SPECIFIED I NEEDEE A LARGER CUP. She took few seconds before finally give me the Cup and still with that disrespectful look. I was soo discussed and upset. At this point I insisted to pay whatever the price, she then said “it ok it ok, Just take the Cup”, still with the attitude. Disappointed with the super poor customer service, I approached the First Gentleman who originally helped me and explained the situation. He apologized and tried to clean the terrible customer service. This is a hospital, a place people already dealing with personal family issues, sometimes life and death issues on their children or family members. Most already dealing with a lot of frustrations and when coming to place an order, all they need is a little respect, and friendly customer service. Giving me attitude for a drink I paid is just unacceptable. This is the worst customer service I experimented. This girl needs training and learn how to be kind, she is really hurting the business, pushing someone like me who never writes review to expose this terrible customer service.
