What a wonderful restaurant which adds to the Aspinwall atmosphere. Very cozy and relaxing and beautiful decor. Staff was awesome and friendly. The food is over the top delicious. We had the chicken parmesan and hot chicken sandwich. The sauce is unbelievable outstanding bursting with flavor. Great selection of drinks and had dessert. What was truly amazing about our dinner experience was that there was no TV to ruin our dinner. Can’t wait to go back.

Visited the The Foxhole earlier this afternoon and my wife and I had a blast! Love the atmosphere, drink selection, and food. The bartenders were great. Unfortunately, the starters stuffed us, before we were able to get to the entrees. Although the fish and chips, burger, pork chops, and steak looked awesome! Hope to come back soon. 100% Recommend.

Came here for dinner over the weekend, it is located in the space that used to be Tavern in the Wall. While the decor has been updated, it maintains the cozy tavern vibes. We had a 4:45 reservation and it was already quite busy. Given the size I would recommend making a reservation in advance. Cocktails were tasty, I would recommend the Smoke Show. For apps we shared the tuna crudo and the Surryano ham and chips. Tuna was delicious but the portion is quite small. Ham and chips were an awesome flavor combination but you have to curate your own perfect bite, would have preferred all the ingredients to be mixed beforehand. For entrees, we both got the Tavern burger and it was 10/10.

I had the fried chicken sandwich. Tasty, maybe too spicy for some. Maybe a bit heavy on the mayo based dressing.

Was pretty disappointed when we thought we were ordering large mozzarella sticks (as shown in photos posted by the restaurant on Open Table) only to receive 7 tiny little fried mozz balls for $13…. That’s absurd. First photo is what we were served. Second photo is what was advertised. Two completely different amounts of food. $13 for 7 little tiny fried mozzarella balls. Really. Will not be back.

Hamburger was fantastic but a bit pricey. Atmosphere was a bit loud for a 5 star dining establishment. Call for reservations. Staff was very polite and got us in without a reservation. We just needed to be out in 1 hour which was plenty of time to eat.

Everything was wonderful- the food, service, and atmosphere. The entrees were so well prepared (pork chop, steak frites, and chicken parm) and the serving size larger than expected. Will definitely be back soon. Oh, almost forgot to mention very good cocktails.
