I like this place because of it price and great location my food was served right service was great and my waitress Janet was pleasant I’m going to past my meal I would say if they are real busy don’t stay half way through my meal my sandwich was pink and bloody but like I said Janet was great she had other one made and got management to take it off the bill not to bad but it was one of my unpleasant visit

I was greeted fairly quickly and seated. Be my first time here I was not familiar with the menu. I wouldn’t say there was a huge variety. Especially when you’re a burger joint you have the ability to do a lot of different things. I realize that it’s a chain but still. My food came out very quickly. I did end up ordering a shake at the same time however I got that before my meal so that had to sit and wait until I was done. Burger was a little greasy but tasted good. Shake was very good. Considering the price I will definitely be going back when I’m in the area. Overall this particular venue was clean, had friendly staff, and fast service.

I used to love this place. Past 3 times there I’ve had bad experience. Waiters are extremely slow. Took around 25 minutes to get our food. They did apologize and said there was an issue with one of the cooks. Made the mistake and ordered milkshakes to go. Waited and waited and waited. They finally brought them to the register where I had gone to pay the bill. I was embarrassed since I had told my friend how great this place was. The food was good. The help…..something is definitely wrong there

Awful service! I went through the drive-thru just to get a milkshake. This was the second time in a row that I’ve come up to order, and they ask me to hold on. There was only one car in front of me, so they weren’t busy. After placing my order I waited a good 15 minutes before I reached the window, but that’s not even the worst part! I get to the window and all the girl says is “$3.91”. Those were the only words she spoke to me during my visit. No “Thank you”, no “Have a nice night.” She just handed me my change and went on about her business. Steak and shake really needs to consider the fact that people can get burgers, fries, and shakes any where, but great service is what keeps them coming back….

They have my favorite chili of all time! Service is usually pretty fast but on occasion the wait for food can be a little lengthy. But the majority of the wait staff seems to always be pleasant, even when extremely busy. And that counts for a lot in my book! Pleasant diner experience, overall.

After we waited about 10 minutes to be acknowledged to get seated we then waited for our waitress for another 15 minutes. She finally came over, she was very sweet and did apologize but then we waited for our food for about 35 minutes. Other couples came in after us, ate and left before we were done. It has always had terrible service but this was the worst! We will no longer spend our money at the Monaca Steak and Shake. It’s a shame to because of the low prices and great food. The manager also stood around talking and did not lend a hand.

SLOWEST SERVICE EVER! We sat in at 10:30am and ordered the food around 10:35am. Until the food arrived, about 45 minutes. I have asked the waiter, where are the food? She said, “4 minutes”. I was like this place should be speed up and faster service. We are definitely not coming back!

Went to the restaurant around 9:30 pm today. We walked in and there was probably 5 tables of people sitting down. There were 8 workers at the time. It took us 15 minutes to be seated, 12 minutes for a waiter to even come take our order, 20 minutes for our milkshakes to come (which is all we ordered) then we asked for our check, and waited 20 minutes. The check never came so we had to walk up to the counter ourselves, and have them ring us up to even be noticed. Good food, terrible service. Waiters are rude and don’t seem to care about the customers. For ordering 2 milkshakes we spent almost an hour and 15 minutes there.

Waited 10 minutes to be seated even though there were at least 7 empty tables. Two parties of 3 ahead of us waited just as long. Server that sat us was rude. Server that took our order was rude. Tried to get the managers attention, guess what, she was rude too. Told me “we’ll get with you when we can”. Food was good and brought out within a reasonable time.
