The food was amazing .this place is lowkey a hidden gem. Everything we tried was full of flavor and clearly made with care. They have a great variety on the menu, so there’s something for everyone, and the desserts were just as good as the mains. Definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend to anyone looking to try something new.

Beautiful cozy dining space. Unique decor is a must see! Quick friendly service and generous portions.
Love the Shrimp Pad Thai, had to order another! Also enjoyed the Green Curry Chicken, Papaya Salad and Crispy Pork with Chinese Broccoli.
Perfect with Thai Iced Tea. Recommended!

At first I thought it was me but the pad thai was bland, the shrimp was overcooked and there was absolutely no flavor to the meal at all. I hate writing bad reviews but this was a serious 0/10. I did order from DoorDash so that may have made a difference, but from that experience alone I would not want to return.
I do have a dietary restriction and glad they were able to accommodate that though. I didn’t get sick here, so I think they are Celiac safe, but the food was horrible.

Got pork fried rice and chicken eggplant to go yesterday. The pork was burnt and charred and the rice was bland and mushy with absolutely no flavor, the vegetables with the chicken and eggplant were old and dry especially the carrots. The dishes were cooked with a lot of oil, making the them very greasy. An absolute waste of money. This place used to be good but, has gone downhill since. AVOID this place as there are better choices around the neighborhood.

This place is very fond to me, it introduced me to Thai cuisine about 4 years ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since! I haven’t been there frequently as I moved out of the neighborhood, but it’s great, the food is always delicious, and not once have I had a bad experience. I remember one year my husband and I didn’t have plans for New Years, we were down in the dumps actually, and I can tell you for sure Black Thai was there to save the night, thankfully! So all in all, highly recommended, the food is always always great!

The atmosphere is so classy, there was a table right away, we were promptly given menu and the right amount of time before place our orders. We both had Pad Thai and dumplings. The flavors were so tasty. If we’re in the area, we will be back.

Such a cute place with very eclectic, unique decor. The food was delicious and the staff was knowledgeable about GF and helped find plenty of gluten free options. Also have kid menu options.

A great place for Thai!
The Thai Ice Tea was refreshing and delicious. Definitely a must have, especially if you’re having something spicy.
The Pad Thai with crispy duck was bursting with rich flavor. The noodles were tasty and the duck had the perfect crisp to it.
The curry was also a great bite.
For the spicy lovers out there – my only complaint is the lack of heat in the spice department. I ordered the Pad Thai spicy, but it wasn’t that hot. I asked for the hot sauce to add more heat and it barely made it hotter. Maybe it was just a bad batch of spicy?
Overall, the food is amazing and the service was good. The place is small so it would be a good idea to make reservations.

Black Thai is our “go-to” for Thai food! The food and service is always top notch. The name “Black Thai” is not just a play on words for the name of this restaurant — it is the quality experience you receive when dining in or ordering take out. All of the curry dishes are a must-try, not to mention the veggie spring rolls and chicken curry puffs and, of course, the Pad Thai; however, my absolute favorite dish is the Chicken Basil! Please support this restaurant.
