They brought zucchini bread for us to snack on while we looked at the menus that was really good. We ordered fried pickles for an appetizer, which I wouldn’t choose again because they’re spears instead of chips. They are a lot juicier so when I bit in, super hot juice went down my chin. We ordered burgers for entrees, which tasted great, with fresh vegetables and toasted buns adding to the overall taste.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and we really enjoyed our cute waitress Kimberly, who was so friendly and attentive.
Looking forward to another date night date night and getting to try something new on the menu!

Talk about great service, good atmosphere, and amazing food with good portion sizes. Went by with a party of 8 a little late but they got us in quickly anyways. Food was out fast. The Shrimp & Gritts Etouffe was awesome, great balance of flavor and spice, and super creamy. Everyone in the group said their food was great.

This place was phenomenal. Food was nice and hot. Staff was super friendly, and so loving. Everyone had smiles and cater to our family . Chicken fried steak was on point. Don’t even get me started on the desserts, everything was amazing !!! We loved it and we will be back very soon with more family and friends

Me and my husband visited 11/20 and the atmosphere was great, the service was excellent and the food was so delicious. We had the Birra Queso which was very tasty. We also had the rib tips which were tender and full of flavor & the blackened salmon that was cooked to perfection. Last but not least the banana cake was divine and one of the best deserts I ever had the pleasure of indulging. My whole experience was amazing and we will definitely be back as we also patron their Gravy Breakfast restaurant within walking distance of this place. They are known for their zucchini bread and candied bacon which is superb.

We had heard wonderful things & read rave reviews & I was looking forward to a good chicken fried steak. We got there a little early for dinner (about 5 pm) and I think there was one other customer, but may have been a manager. Our waitress was very pleasant. I asked about the size of the chicken fried steak, which seemed to be ok, not as large as many, but that was ok. I ordered with white gravy, mashed potatoes & hot honey carrots. It also came with a small roll. The other order was for fried chicken. While we were waiting a thin slice of zucchini bread, cut in 2, was brought as our appetizer. Dinner was brought, mine was served on a wooden cutting board, which I thought was a little strange for a course that is usually served with gravy poured over. Each side dish was in its own bowl. Anyway, the coating was nice and crunchy, although the cutlet was fairly thin. Our waitress came right back to check, all was fine. Until I took a second bite & got a bit more meat and realized it was chicken, not steak. No one came back by to check, and the staff was in the kitchen area, so I just decided to eat it. About halfway thru the meal, the waitress came over & asked how everything was. I told her okay, except this wasn’t steak. There was a little confusion until she realized what had happened. She did ask if I wanted her to re-order the steak, but hubby was mostly done with his meal, I was halfway through mine & I was already disappointed, so I declined. There wasn’t a visit from the manager, or an offer to adjust the bill, or even a complementary dessert. The food was okay, just not what was anticipated & not my idea of an almost $50 meal for 2 dinners, no drinks.

Gravy is delicious! I will never eat at zucchs again! I ordered country fried steak which was nothing more than a very small hamburger patty breaded. Easley cut with a fork!$22 My wife got the meatloaf plate with two little thin slices of meatloaf. Only 1 side comes with a meal. And for dessert a $13 tiny piece of carrot cake which was no more than 4-5 bites. They will definitely never get our business again! Extremely disappointing! And it was a to go order just FYI

Zucch’s in Red Oak is an absolute gem that deserves a visit for both lunch and dinner. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a memorable meal. I had the pleasure of being served by Emily, whose attentive and friendly service added to the overall experience.

Chef Phillip truly shines with his innovative dishes. The chicharrón with zucchini salsa is a must-try; it’s a delightful combination of textures and flavors that’s both refreshing and satisfying. Mom’s chicken fried chicken, served with rich gravy and mini zucchini, is comfort food at its finest. Each bite is packed with flavor, and you can tell that the ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Oh and the banana cheesecake might as well be on my last meal list!

What’s even more enticing is the complimentary glass of wine or beer currently being offered until they secure their liquor license. It’s a lovely touch that enhances the dining experience without breaking the bank.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Zucch’s is well worth going out of your way for. Don’t miss the chance to indulge in Chef Phillip’s memorable creations!

Yeah….. All of you there know how I feel about you. This is a personable place you will get to feel it if you go even once. The food is delicious and though we were a decent sized group…. This place is AWESOME. Great variety to the menu, the staff are ultra kind and accommodating, and the executive chef Phillip was ESPECIALLY delightful, taking the time to stop by our table and chat. Our server Emily was a sweetheart as well. On this visit, I had the New York Pastrami sandwich, with the lemon pepper zucchini. DELICIOUS. Hands down the best sandwich I’ve had in recent memory, no contest. The zucchini was so flavorful as well. I can’t wait to come back and try some more of the menu. I highly recommend this place. It was worth my drive from Frisco.

My wife and I love going to Zucchs! The same people who own and operate Gravy own this place. The food here is outstanding. It is always like eating at moms house. The staff is attentive and accommodating. Everyone is more like family than anything else. You can’t go wrong in Red Oak at Zucchs!
