Stopped by Café Moon for lunch and ordered the chicken bibimbap. It was fresh and delicious! The veggies were light and refreshing, making it the perfect meal for a hot, sunny day. The restaurant is quite small and only has a few tables, so plan accordingly if you’re coming during peak hours.

The food was absolutely delicious and very clean. It felt warm and comforting, just like a homemade meal, and I truly felt well taken care of. The atmosphere was neat and welcoming, which made the dining experience even better.
Most of all, the owner was extremely kind and genuine, which made the visit feel even more special. This is definitely a Korean restaurant I’d love to visit again.

The couple that run this small restaurant are dedicated, friendly, and customer focused. Having lived in Korea, I’m always looking for good Korean comfort food. Cafe Moon will not disappoint you. Some people will tell you the prices are high but keep in mind that you’re on Maui. Portions are large. We had meat jeon, bulgogi japchae, spicy pork, and barbecue chicken. Everything was delicious. Zero complaints. The picture just shows you how small the place is for reference. We got everything to go. Not a place for large groups to go have a sure down but you should definitely do take out and give them a shot. Amazing!

Finally, an actual Korean restaurant in Maui that tastes great and made by Korean couple who could not be nicer. Wow… what a fantastic experience. Like every Hawaiin food, it was a little on the sweet side but the flavors and taste were both ob point. Absolutely enjoyed every last bite. Would have eaten more if my stomach allowed it. Definitely a must try when in Maui.

Went into Cafe Moon for the first time yesterday! The people who run the place are very nice and customer-service oriented. You can tell they love their food and their customers.
I had the spicy pork and my wife had a pork fried rice. Both were amazing, and huge portion sizes. A really good selection of neat korean drinks too, we sampled pretty much one of everything. Atmosphere was cute, tiny and cozy. Service was fast and friendly.
The lady makes the best kimchi I’ve ever had.

Amazingly delicious vegetarian options aplenty. I got the pan fried tofu and veggies plate and was surprised that the dine in portion loaded the plate! And the service was so friendly, they checked on us multiple times and gave us extra sauce. There’s about 4 tables that can seat 4 people. Interior is casual but nice. Located in a strip mall with plentiful parking. I will be back!

Loved the food! A must stop in Maui. Authentic Korean food made by sweet ladies, and the service was incredible she came to chat with us after about our stay. The place is a little hidden with quaint ambiance. The garlic tofu was SO good and veges perfectly stir fried. Bulgogi bibimbap was amazing and so fresh! Mac salad was some of my fav. Come support this local business and fill up the place

Outstanding Korean food! Loved every bite. We split five dishes and all of them were excellent. We come from Vancouver where the standard for Asian food is very high and this slapped! Such a kind couple running the joint as well. Would definitely recommend 🙂

During my short vacation in Maui, I was craving soft tofu soup and found Café Moon in Kihei through a quick Google search. We immediately drove about 20 minutes from Kahului to check it out. The place was cozy, and the owners were incredibly warm and welcoming. The soft tofu soup was sooooo good—authentic in style—and the kalbi was tender and soft. My daughter absolutely loved it! I’ll definitely be coming back on my next trip!

Incredible experience! I came based on a recommendation from a friend who lives locally and the food did not disappoint. Fresh food made with love (mandoo taking 6 hours to prepare). Owner was wonderful and came by to introduce himself and walk us through the menu personally! Highly recommend! We got the bulgogi kimbap and pan friend mandoo.
