I had such a great experience at Chicago Gyro Plus! When I first walked in, it looked empty, and I thought the restaurant might be closed. The man at the counter quickly assured me they were open — and even said that as long as the door is open, he’d be happy to take my order.
I ordered the chicken salad and watched as they pulled out fresh chicken and grilled it right in front of me. They had a variety of toppings to choose from, and I was excited to see mushrooms — something I’ve never seen offered at other gyro spots. Since I love mushrooms, that was definitely a bonus!
The meat was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I didn’t feel like anything was missing, which sometimes happens with salads elsewhere. This one was so delicious that I went back the very next day to order it again!

Came in for a good Greek meal. Was not disappointed in the least. The man up front was friendly and neighborly. Portions were fair and the food filled me up. Would absolutely come back soon.

When my husband first pulled up to the location I didn’t want to get out because j thought it was going to be nasty die to the area I was in, but to my surprise the food was great. I am from New York and my husband is from Chicago and we both miss eating good food now that we live in Alabama. This was definitely a treat. I will encourage everyone to go there. You won’t be disappointed. Now we had the lamb Gyros and they were very good and had plenty of meat. The man that works there was amazing as well.

My husband’s parents were in town visiting, and we were looking for some nice Greek style food. We found this little hole in the wall and it was some of the best food we’ve had in Nashville. The portions of food are so fulfilling and you will absolutely have some left overs for the next few days. It is priced very well and the customer service is one of the best around. Great place to eat, we will be back often.

This is a very good gyro place with a hole in the wall feel. The price for the proportions you get is a very good deal. They have as many topping options as subway. Salad types and tzatziki sauce and salads were delicious. If I’m in town again I’ll be back!

Don’t let the outside fool you—this place is delicious! We had the gyro plates, hummus and the baklava—all were fantastic and there was plenty!! The service was great and the platters fresh made while we waited. We will definitely be back.

We were looking for somewhere to eat after a late evening tour at the nearby Hermitage. This place popped up with incredible reviews. It’s in a strip mall that looks a little sketchy, but we gave it a shot anyway and are glad we did. The food was excellent. We both got a Gyro sandwich and we shared some fries.
