An absolute gem in a fantastic location. The wine selection here is truly outstanding. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. What made the experience even more memorable was the incredibly friendly staff. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refined yet welcoming dining experience.

I love having a local place that has a good selection of wine! It’s a great spot to meet up with friends/colleagues after work too. My review is primarily for the chicken sandwich. I’ve given this a try twice now and it’s just a huge no for me. They should at least say in the menu that it is dark meat. I hope it’s dark meat- that’s what I was telling myself. But I just couldn’t stomach it. The meat is very poor quality. It’s odd not to use a chicken breast for a chicken sandwich. To each their own, but important to share that detail in the menu. 10/10 for the fries. 10/10 for the mulled wine. I just won’t order the sandwich anymore.

This is a nice, quaint, small restaurant and package store. Lots of cold draft beers to choose from. Pretty extensive selection of other local microbreweries are available also. The food was delicious, prepared well and plated nicely. The serving sizes were good. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable of what’s on the menu as well as what’s on draft. I highly recommend this place. Nice quiet meal where you can have great conversation with the other members of your party. They also have wonderful outdoor seating.

This is an adorable wine bar- everyone is very nice and professional and they absolutely know their wine styles – it just feels like it caters a bit too much to older folks but could really attract more millennials with some improvements. With Rockville/Kensington becoming younger and younger there is a lot of potential to bring in more business if they remodeled a bit and boosted the atmosphere (better music, more talkative staff, maybe some wine-special events like a “Pinot noir night” or themed around highlighting specific regions…or trivia is always safe). Good luck!!

Great little corner wine a beer bar. Terrific service and delicious food. They have a fantastic wine and beer selection. It’s a fun and relaxing spot. It’s on a busy street when you sit outside it can get a bit loud during rush hour.

I have always been a big fan of this restaurant and go there frequently. However, today I ordered the P.E.I. mussels, which were absolutely terrible. The mussels were barely warm and the broth was undescribably unappetizing – also barely warm with grease floating to the top. As usual, the staff were really friendly, welcoming and very efficient. Just a bad day, I guess!

We got to go there for the first time in December when relatives took us there. We did not have to wait long and got a seat right off although the place was busy.
They had a great beer selection and the plates we split were excellent as was our server.
They had a great ‘take-out’ selection of craft beers. I checked many of the expiration dates, and unlike many of these specialty beer stores, their selection was current as well as varied, I want to go back again during our next visit.

I met up with my friend for lunch there. It had a very nice atmosphere, surrounded by wines from all over the world. We ordered Green Goddess Salad and Salmon BLT to share. To our surprise, they brought those dishes in two separate plates without being asked. What a service! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I will definitely go back there!

On a Sunday evening, my boyfriend and I had dinner at Knowles Station Wine & Co, a beer and wine bar with a kitchen and a retail shop. By the time we arrived (around 7pm), it was not as crowded as the lady on the phone described. There was no wait for a table. Our server Tony gave us waters while we waited for our food and drinks.
For drinks, they had a notable beer and wine list. We were in the mood for beer. My boyfriend had the Nanticoke Nectar IPA while I had the Downeast Cider: Winter Blend. If he had scrolled through the entire beer list, he would have ordered something else.
My boyfriend had the Baja Fish Tacos, which consisted of three corn tortillas, topped with grilled fish, spicy slaw, pico de gallo, and salsa roja on the side. The tacos were tasty but a bit moist and messy to eat. Despite not being a huge fan of parmesan, I enjoyed the Smoked Chicken Pasta, which consisted of penne cooked with spinach, mushrooms, and roasted red peppers in a savory parmesan cream sauce! We would definitely return for future date nights!
