Chips are thin and crispy; salsa is good. I ordered chicken fajitas and the chicken was well seasoned and cut into smaller pieces. My husband ordered their Mexican pizza and it too was tasty. If you are a veteran they offer a 10% discount. Another great thing is they do not charge customers a transaction fee for using a credit card as payment.

White queso had a good spice, a little thin side than i am use to . Spicy burrito was enough to feed 2 or maybe 3 people. Chili sauce is good, (made with steak). I got the chimi was also good and had half left over. Was attentive with keeping drinks and chips filled. Finished off with churros. They were the best I ever had served with ice cream. Definitely recommend

My local frequented small town Mexican restaurant. Great food that will have you asking for seconds. Margaritas In all the flavors and options you can want. Service that puts that security in you, knowing your getting what you want. Kind people to say the least. I find myself here 2-3 times a week. It’s hard to stay away!

I was a little skeptical when we went here for a rehearsal dinner, but boy am I glad we did! Food is good, prices more than reasonable, and I guarantee you’ll have food to bring home. If you get the large margarita just know you’re getting a fish bowl. I will be going out of my way to go back.

EXCELLENT, DELICIOUS FOOD…..and WE L♥️VE COMING BACK over and over again.! The FOOD is served in large quantities for great reasonable prices making it affordable for ANY size family to Dine-In, or to order Take-Out. Each time we order and eat we still have leftovers to take home. The ATMOSPHERE @ GORDO’s MEXICAN CUISINE located in Albany, Louisiana…. is a PLUS because the owner and his family and their staff are very efficient ensuring we always get to EAT great food & ENJOYING our dining experience there.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant, and I’m glad we did. This was a great find. We had enchiladas, taquitos, quesadillas, rice and beans. All were fantastic. Great salsa verde too. I’d highly recommend this restaurant. Give them a go.

Ate here for lunch the second day they were open. Service was great and food came out quickly considering the building was full to capacity. My initial impression is the food itself was typical of small town mexican joints. It didn’t stick out to me above the rest, but there was nothing unusual to complain about. The salsa was just the right heat and flavor for me, chips were your usual – not too thick and not too thin. The shrimp chimi was a little light on shrimp but the tortilla it was fried in was very flavorful on its own. Rice and beans – well they are just that. Edit: Tried the carnitas and the pork salsa verde tonight. Also very good. This will be a stop on my list because it is so close to home, so on all the nights that I don’t want to drive into Hammond, this will be great! I look forward to trying other items to see how they compare to this one. Check it out if you are in the area.

Only had drinks. My table of 2 were the only people there so service was very fast. Chips and salsa as always were perfect. 2 margaritas 33$ no a bad price compared to nearly any place in hammond.

Went a couple days ago— cheese dip and salsa were great ! My meal was La Ramcherita + a side of beans. Everything was bigger and better than expected! My boyfriend got the Birria Tacos + rice and beans and he said the tacos were the best he’d ever had 🙂 The Flan at the end was my favorite!

I mean where do I start . This is my 3rd time coming here . First time in a year only because everything was so bad a year ago
I said I was never going back . But my kid convinced me to get him some tacos.
The service was great but the food… skimpy, and just stale shells and meat so tough.
Not to mention it was 24 dollars for 3 tacos and cheese dip.
I get things are expensive but to charge 3.99 per taco for this …?Taco bell would have been better at this point
Just insane . NEVER AGAIN should have learned my lesson a year ago.
I’d add picture to show but cant figure out how .
