The food was delicious! I got a plate with spicy brisket and my husband had the chicken and chorizo plate. Both came with rice and beans (choice of pintos or black). We also had the tamales and the churros for dessert. Everything was well flavored and authentic, and the price was very reasonable. Entire meal for two for less than $40.00. You could tell that the food was cooked from scratch and was fresh made. Staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions and the restaurant was very clean. Give this place a try!

First time having lunch in the new location (where the Chinese restaurant used to be on Hwy 701). I liked the layout of the restaurant.
We bought chicharrones, empanadas and carnitas to take home. You get a free pound of tortillas when you buy chicharrones by the pound.
We dined in lunch, bowl of carnitas, rice, beans and salsa verde.
We really enjoyed the art work, I think honoring the “pico de gallo” (rooster’s beak) displayed on the walls.
The horchata was too watered down for a drink that it was really disappointing.
A place to come back to dine in or to go, for sure.

Rice ain’t even that good. However my review is that the worker (a whole Senora) who serves is extremely rude. Telling us we are wasting her time only because she doesn’t have the food we desire. Maybe she need to have her food ready before she even opens up. Any restaurant would say this.
