First time here for my husband and I. The food was fresh and tasty. You can definitely tell they are smoking meat in the back which i enjoyed but it may not be pleasant for others if they’re not expecting it, so just saying if it bothers you please order to-go. There are also only 2 booths inside so keep that in mind. The space is small but hits the nail on the head with the food. The bowls were great portion size and everything was super fresh. I love that they made such a good middle eastern food spot in melvindale.

I had an amazing dining experience here! This new spot is now our family go-to. My brothers and I tried most of their menu offerings: the Halal Eatery Burger (with smoked brisket!), the Cheetos Burger (it works!), Smoked wings, and naked wings (the staff was incredibly kind and let us try various sauces). And, hands down, THE best loaded chicken fries I’ve ever had in my life!! Everything was cooked to perfection and was presented beautifully. Burgers, Shawarma, everything, Each bite was bursting with flavor!
It’s clear that the owners and staff put a lot of love and care into crafting their recipes, and the service was top-notch. Prices are more than reasonable. You must try this place! I can’t praise them enough— the food here is uniquely delicious!

I had a terrific time at Halal Eatery, me and a couple friends stopped by for an afternoon bite, and we enjoyed the Grilled Chicken Bowls, the Smoked Chicken Bowls, and the Hot Cheetos Burger. All of them tasted well, no complaints! Jihad gave us a really smooth, impeccable customer service experience, checked up on us during our dine in several times, and gave us napkins without asking. Super generous guy. The owner was also very kind and gave us generous portions with our rice bowls, and was humorous and entertaining to talk to. Had a great afternoon lunch here, highly recommend! Give it a shot!

First of all my experience was so great that I had to leave my first review. I just recently had moved out to the Allen park/melvindale area and I’m so thankful I found out about Halal Eatery. I came in today with around 40-50 mins until they closed and truly wasn’t expecting them to serve me, but they sure did. The customer service was outstanding by all the employees. I ordered a few things like the chicken bowl, smoked wings, and flaming hot Cheetos burger and I kid you not they were probably the best thing I’ve had so far while living here. The patty on the burger was cooked exactly how I wanted, and the bowl was probably the best thing I had. I would definitely recommend stopping by here and trying out some of there menu items. Phenomenal staff. Outstanding environment. Even better food.
