I ordered on doordash the Honey jerk chicken sandwich and there was no chicken at all. The fries are bland too. I threw the entire meal away. I spent 17 dollars and wasted a doordash deal and only got 5$ and had to complain further for another 3$. I literally worked 6am-2pm and its my 1st day of my period. I’m just upset and wasted money. Ive ordered so many times from this restaurant and this was my worst experience with the restaurant and doordash.

I ordered a large curry shrimp & white rice on DoorDash & they didn’t even bother securing the food. No staples or tape on the bag so your food will be easily manipulated. In addition to that, the food was not good at all.

The good was pretty I can’t say much about the atmosphere because he was closing as I went in. But the owner was very nice and accommodating since I traveled so far for the food in inclement weather. Try him out you will like the food. The Rasta pasta was my favorite.

I should have known when the inside is plain as heck , no vibes no decoration… The Mac and cheese should be thrown in the TRASH!!! I almost threw up at the taste of this horrible Mac . This my 3rd time ordering it and it’s getting worse and worse . The Mac tastes sweet and spicy . Like sugar was added or sweet milk . The cheese was not real cheese it tastes like powder cheese , can cheese or box cheese with cheese on top to give it a cheesy look . It was really orange looking .. such a waste of $6 because that’s all I ordered.. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted.. I will not be coming back ever and I will NEVERR recommend anyone there . Such a shame for real I don’t understand how are they still in business. My co worker didn’t enjoy her beef patty neither !! Like how you mess up on a beef patty!!??? Smh.

Not bad…but not good either. So, so…the Jerk Chicken so lathered in sauce that tasted like it came from a bottle you can buy at Walmart. The Ox tail was decent but rice and peas are dry and the beef patty wasn’t fresh and tasted like it was reheated. I can’t recommend but it wasn’t terrible.

I’ve given this restaurant props as the food has been delicious up until now. I ordered the Jerk Chicken Nachos and was highly disappointed with what | received, it looked nothing like the advertised photos and was completely different from the description. I followed through with door dash and was refunded but l attempted to place a different order and the store immediately cancelled it. I tried calling to resolve the issue but my call was ignored. It sad to say because this was my favorite food spot, l’ve spent a favorable amount here between door dash and my fiancé going in person.
Customer service matters too and you guys just lost a loyal customer over a simple misunderstanding.

The food was delicious and its a family ran business. I like coming to mom and pop restaurants, because the food is authentic. The service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was super clean. I’m looking forward to coming back. I definitely recommend coming to eat here of you live in the area or are just driving through. So I’ve ordered from this place before, and I’ve never had a bad experience till recently. I ordered from Door dash just when they opened, so that could’ve been the problem. The food tasted like the leftovers they had the day before. You know, JUST FRIED plantains when you taste them, and this was not it. The OX/rice tasted warmed and was put in the bowl without care about presentation. Although dissatisfied, I will say the natural juices are Always good.

This was my first visit to Island Treat and, most definitely, NOT my last !!! I only stopped by to check it out and it’s an ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE hidden gem !! It smelled so FREAKING GOOD inside, the foods the customers were eating look sooooo delicious and it was so nice and clean inside and outside !!!
The staff were very friendly with big smiles and sooo welcoming !!! I had the opportunity to meet Carl the owner, his granddaughter and their good friend Steve too !!! I ABSOLUTELY fell in LOVE with them all !!!
YES!!! I definitely recommend checking Island Treats out because YOU will sooo be in for a great treat !!! Carl was very knowledgeable on his Jamaican foods and taught me a few things about Ackee and saltfish !!! I can’t wait to go back again !!! Nope didn’t eat there yet but WILL most definitely go back soon and I’ll definitely show it to you !! You know I will !!!!!
