Been twice… Small place but we got seated quickly. Excellent food. French toast and eggs very good! Breakfast all day! Fried chicken, country style steak and veggies are excellent. Staff is great! Definitely will keep going back!

Nice, clean local diner / family restaurant. Plenty of options on the menu, and the staff were all very friendly. We got there for breakfast, around 8am. Not too busy, immediate seating, and the food was ready fast. Very good omelet and VERY good potatoes. Good for all ages, checkout out if you’re in town.

We tried this place a few times now and it is very good each time. Everything is cooked in a timely fashion. Everything we have tried is fixed perfectly. The Philly sub is delicious. The grilled chicken plate is fantastic. And I love their fried okra. The restaurant is newly renovated and is squeaky clean. The only downside is the building isn’t large nor is the parking area. But sometimes those bigger restaurants tend to overlook things because they are too big. I think Max’s is a perfect fit for our small town. And the prices are not outrageous like other big name restaurants in town. I will have to go back again and try several other menu items!!

First time dinning here and I was super impressed. It’s small but the food was very good. I had the shrimp and fish plate and I must say enjoyed it very much. The flounder was very tasty and so was the shrimp. My wife also enjoyed the meal she had. I recommend stopping in and trying it for yourself

I just wanted to say we stopped by Max’s to grab something quick for lunch at 210 pm so not many cars in the parking lot, I was pulling a Hotdog cart and was told immediately I could not park in the lot. We left. We will never go back!!! Definitely do not pull in there if you have any trailer hooked up!!! Very rude

Great tasting food, large portions, if you have to wait, it is not very long or it has not been for us. The parking is sometime a problem, but you can always park along the road. Any places good enough to eat at you can figure that out. Number one in our book.
