I visited Jamaica House Grill and was really impressed by the beautiful ambiance. The décor is classy, the vibe is warm, and the reggae music sets the mood perfectly. I ordered the oxtails with rice and peas, mixed vegetables, and the grilled shrimp appetizer. Everything was flavorful and plated beautifully, although the food wasn’t as hot as expected after a longer wait time.
My server, BJ, was outstanding! He was attentive, friendly, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my meal.
Overall, this is a lovely spot for Jamaican fine dining. Great service and great presentation; with shorter wait times and hotter plates, it would be excellent.

Don’t waste your TIME NOR MONEY ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE HUNGRY!!!!

where do I start ! After a long work day …I was recommended this restaurant and I wish I wasn’t!

Reggae Jerk is my normal Friday night fish spot I wish I would have never cheated on them for Jamaica house Grill

MP Sardine ( aka red snapper ) was absolutely terrible
My steamed veggies were still Raw almost freshly picked from the garden and thrown in my bowl !

I also ordered cod fish fritters ( which came out to be spicy dough and bellpeppers ) terrible ….lets just say I am headed to reggae jerk as I type this I can not believe I wasted $45 and let’s not speak on the DAY OLD RICE !
This is not Jamaican Food this is rubbish!

From the moment I walked in I felt very good vibes n very friendly people… And the food…?
Absolutely delicious! I had the braised oxtails with some special rice and vegetables on the side.
Oh my God they know how to cook oxtails, tasted soooo good! The rice was perfect n very fluffy, so good too. Thank You for providing me with such a great quality dinner

I was visiting from out of town and wanted some good Jamaican food. I tried this place and was beyond happy I did! I ordered the sorrel and ginger homemade juice, jerk shrimp appetizer and brown stew salmon with rice and peas instead of mashed potatoes with a side of plantains. Everything was super yummy! The portion was large, I had leftovers for 3 days. Well worth the money, esp since it all tasted so good. A must try for sure!

The restaurant is nice and clean. The decor is nice set and inviting. The customer service is good. The jerk chicken dinner on the other hand was horrible. The chicken was not fully cooked, and there was only 4 pieces of chicken. I seems like for $16.50, I received was a plate full of white rice. When I was told the side item would be vegetables, I immediately thought “cabbage” since that’s a regular side at most Jamaican restaurants. Instead, I was given big chunks of carrots, squash and zucchini. I should have asked which vegetables would I be getting and they should list the type of vegetables they serve. My food wasn’t hot but it wasn’t cold. Food should be served hot and fresh. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant due to the uncooked and warm food.

I ordered the coconut curry shrimp and white rice. I waited approximately 20minutes. The shrimp lacked the authentic Jamaican flavors I craved – I was disappointed.

Restaurant appeared clean, had nice ambience, and staff was pleasant.
I might go again and try something different.

Ordered lunch for takeout. Food took an extremely long time. The guy at the front kept checking on it and apologizing. The plantains were ok. Prices are high compared to what I pay for similar dishes at other Jamaican restaurants. The jerk wings were terrible. They were dry and hard- like stale wings that were reheated then sauced. That was $10.99! The jerk pork and peas and rice were good. Just not worth $19.99. Also, the one thing I went for, they didn’t have- fried dumplings.

Beyond Amazing Food!!!! Portions are just fine, the quality is incredible! Everything was delicious! Not some was delicious and others were good… no. It was all delilicious! Jerk chicken is mind blowing; braised oxtail is unreal; kids mac n cheese, we were attacking our sons dish because it was so amazing (luckily it was such a big portion, we had our bites and our son ate his fill and we took the rest home)! Best coconut shrimp Ive had and the jerk sauce on the wings was unreal… they need to bottle the stuff!
Service was great – Carlos was very attentive and we had everything we needed at all times! It was just a great experience. The restaurant was bright and clean and just lovely. Even the bathrooms were very clean. Simply a great experience and I cant wait to come back again!

Beautiful decor in restuarant. You get that happy feeling. The food is excellent. Veggies were tender and delicious, rice cooked to perfection. All meats (chicken, steak and oxtail tails) were fresh and tasty. The hostess/server Millie was friendly and professional. We will be dining here again.

The Bar Has Been Set…at least for the dining atmosphere for other Jamaican Restaurants!

It’s been a long wait, but today, I finally get to try the food.

I ordered two lunch specials (curry and brown stew chicken) for take out. Unfortunately when I got home, I realized I was given two brown stew chicken instead…Bummer!

The rice, chicken and vegetables were cooked perfectly, but lacked in some known flavors I’m accustomed to in Jamaican cuisine.

That said, I do plan to go back for the dine-in experience with my wife and daughter.
