food was fantastic! definitely order from here for takeout. the dine in experience was a bit strange- no plates or glasses of water, just everything in to go packaging brought to the table. not particularly unpleasant, just kind of odd. again, food was great snd the prices were even better, will be ordering takeout from here in the future.

Service was super quick and all varieties of sashimi tasted fresh and distinct. This store is going on my list of spots to stop if I’m craving sashimi and nearby.

Really enjoyed my lunch at Sumo Sushi! I ordered the 3-roll lunch special to-go, which is such a great deal for the price. I went with shrimp tempura, yellowtail, and spicy tuna, and all three were delicious. The shrimp tempura had a nice crunch, the yellowtail was super fresh, and the spicy tuna had just the right amount of heat. It also came with delicious miso soup. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

I grabbed takeout from Sumo Sushi last night and it was worth it. The food was fresh, legit flavorful, and not sloppy like a lot of takeout sushi spots. What surprised me most was the service. The woman at the front had my order out fast and was actually friendly, which you don’t always get with takeout. Everything was smooth, no waiting around, no mistakes. I’ll be back for sure.

Our favorite vegetarian sushi in the city! It obviously can be difficult to find good vegetarian options for sushi, but Sumo has incredible sweet potato rolls and inari rolls (but all the vegetarian ones are good). They are always friendly as well!

I’ve been ordering sushi from this place for almost a year: without exception food is always amazing. Fish is always fresh, no funky smells, rice cooked perfectly (I am half korean myself so I know few things about rice), the cut of sushi is so esthetically pleasing it almost feels you are eating from the Michelin star restaurant). I recently ordered dinner for 8 and was absolutely blown away by quality and freshness of the food (not just sushi, but salads, shredded radish etc). Highly recommend!

I particularly like their shrimp tempura rolls, and their salmon sashimi melts in your mouth. Lots of happy memories eating and sharing their food with friends and family.

Ordered Sumo Sushi via DoorDash for a Friday dinner. My girlfriend and I split a Seaweed Salad and three signature rolls – Green Dragon Roll (our favorite roll), a Nagoya Roll, and Yummy Roll. The sushi was not terrible but it was not my favorite. The textures of the rolls became a bit soft and mushy; when trying to pick up rolls with chopsticks, they collapsed on themselves. It could have been from the delivery time but I typically order sushi delivery and have not had this issue from other places. The Seaweed Salad was fairly standard. On the positive side, their prices do seem to beat others in the area. For now though, I’ll stick with a few places I enjoyed more like Tsuki Sushi, Machi Sushi Bar, Fuji Mountain, Engimono, and Kansai.

Best prices for sushi in the area. The happy lunch special makes me happy. I’ve eaten here every day for two years and food was always fresh, consistent and delicious. Jason one of the chefs is always so welcoming, he really knows how to load up my ikura handrolls. I love this place.
