The hot noodle soups were just what we needed to warm up, and they hit the spot perfectly.
Although the Matsu ramen lacked the traditional pork broth taste, it still had a light and satisfactory flavor. The dynamite roll was average, with spicy tuna and sriracha sauce, but the chopped jalapenos inside the rolls didn’t complement these flavors and made them too strong. The sashimi exceeded our expectations, although it had a slightly defrosted taste. Overall, the service was decent, and the restaurant’s ambiance added to the enjoyment of our meal, making it a pleasant dining experience.

Pretty average atmosphere and setting. Food is between average and good. I’ve had better fresher sushi in the area. Don’t get me wrong. This place is still pretty okay. Not my top pick. I will stop by if I happen to be in the area.

I forgot I’ve been to this place. As soon as I turned into the shopping plaza, I recalled how it tasted. If I could put it shortly, the sushi is slightly above average. It’s not the best sushi I have ever had like some of the reviews are raving about.
I was glad to be able to find a sushi restaurant with White Tuna available though. It was quite satisfying but again it wasn’t the best white tuna I’ve ever had. I feel like something is missing in the taste of the sushi but I cannot pinpoint exactly what. Maybe I wasn’t feeling the love the chef had for his/her sushi.
The place isn’t huge but also isn’t tiny so you should be able to find an open table without issue. It’s in a shopping plaza so there’s plenty of parking in front. I have to be honest again, I wouldn’t drive out of my way to come back here.

The best sushi in this area. Quaint little eatery. It is very popular and gets rather crowded. A lot of variety and almost everything is tasty. We go here often, never disappoints.

We had a truly wonderful dinner at Matsu last night! We were seated promptly, and the sushi was incredibly tasty and fresh. The chicken katsu was also a standout – so flavorful and authentically prepared without being too heavy. I would absolutely recommend Matsu to anyone looking for a great Japanese meal.

The best sushi in the area. Authentic. Friendly staff as well. Make note that if ordering for pickup it has to be 30 minutes before they close. The staff likes to leave promptly. I have found this same thing in other places as well to be fair.

The food was great. Loved the Japanese take on fish and chips. The Salmon Lover dish was a lot of the same sushi roll, which was a bummer not to have a little more variety. The Crunchy Fire roll was also great.
