Outstanding Spanish concept, it felt really authentic like if you are in Spain, server talking to you with their accent loved it, and professional and very goo in customer services. Food wooowwww amazing, to share concept i recommend to go with the menu flow and order more than 3, 4 plates to enjoy, with some Spanish beer or wines so good. Please goooooo

Small but well designed restaurant with a nice ambience. The service was wonderful – we really enjoyed all the staff. The boquerones with the tomate were delicious, we ordered it with a side of their toasted bread which was the perfect crispy exterior & soft fluffy interior. The steak tartare was fantastic – had ours topped with a soft fried egg to add that luscious yolk. Paella for main course – was a special with rabbit & escargot. Finished with the creme Catalan – delicious.

Fantastic. They had a decent number of gluten free options. The anchovies were the best I’ve had in the US. Paella flavor balance was superb. Oh and the chocolate ganache was actually the best dessert I’ve ever had. I’d fly to Miami from Cleveland just for that dessert.

This is my go-to for a healthy lunch! Absolutely amazing everytime! So healthy, delicious and amazing vibes! I always feel so good after eating since they use raw ingredients and no seed oils! They also have GF options! I recommend getting the salon, sweet potatoes, carrots and beet sauce. So delish! One of my favorite lunches in Miami!

I’ll fully admit—I’ve written a review for Niu Kitchen before, but it deserves another. I’ve been in this industry for 16 years, worked alongside some of the top chefs in the game, and grew up with my grandmother, who was a chef at the Waldorf. I’d like to think I know what I’m talking about. And I can say with absolute confidence: Niu Kitchen isn’t just one of my favorite restaurants in the U.S.—it is my favorite restaurant in the United States.

This little slice of Spain in downtown Miami is understated at first glance. But once you sit down, you’ll feel it: the warmth, the soul, the authenticity. What sets Niu apart—beyond its incendiary food—is its people. While so many restaurants around them are turning and burning through staff, Niu has kept the same loyal faces for nearly a decade. That kind of consistency and heart is rare in this industry, and it shows.

I’m grateful this gem survived the pandemic, because they deserve every bit of praise. The food is transportive. I lose myself every time I dine here—each bite better than the last. The Bronzino tartar is a must, the legendary ous (only on Tuesdays, so book ahead!) is a revelation, and the squid ink arroz will stop you in your tracks. Don’t miss Chef Deme’s new clam dish, a family recipe from his mother—it’s soulful, heartfelt cooking at its best.

For me, no trip to Miami is complete without a visit to Niu Kitchen. It will forever hold the most special place in my heart and truly feels like home.

If you only have one night to dine in Miami, this is the spot! Chefs Lomas and Cabrera put their hearts into every dish, and the team makes you feel like family. Great wine selection and top-tier music. ¡Gracias!

I really liked this place! We went on a wednesday night so not busy at all. Food came out quick and extra delicious.

We ordered an assortment of foods and everything was a hit! Especially loved the Ous, the artichoke, and the gamba al ajillo.

Super fresh, lovely tasting food and a very charming atmosphere. Staff were so nice and attentive as well.

One thing I will say, is that you might want to order a few side orders of bread since a lot of the dishes really benefit from having it, but do not come with it (like sopping up all the delicious sauce from the gamba al ajillo). I don’t think you can really go wrong with anything you order on the menu.

There was only one thing I did not particularly like, which was the foie gras, but I think that’s only because the pairings on this dish overpower the foie. I’m chalking it up to personal preference taste though.

Overall great spot, very happy I stopped in.

The service was great!
Excellent wine recommendations, fast paced meals, clean table at all times.

The food was flavorless for the most part. Prices were steep for the portion sizes.

We were seated outside, where there was a lot of honking, sirens, homeless walking by, etc. Not the most romantic atmosphere.
Also the fast paced meals make you feel rushed, further detracting from a romantic atmosphere.

After spending $150 I felt like I barely ate anything and an hour later I could not tell you what I ordered cause it was so forgettable.

This place has been on my list for years. Food was absolutely excellent! A bit pricey for the portions but we will be coming back here again. Everything was tapas size including the larger dishes. We ordered the charbroiled oysters, steak tartare, tomato bread, seared foie, bavette steak and arroz bec.

Charbroiled Oysters – wonderful flavor of smokey with the mild oyster taste. A bit pricey at $8 per piece but would absolutely order again

Steak tartare – My only critique would be that the steak tartare had a bit too much brine that overpowered the steak flavor but it was still quite good

Tomato bread – can’t go wrong with this to complement the meal

Seared Foie – loved the combination of flavors. Definitely combine each bite with the sweet and salty sauces on the dish

Bavette Steak – made perfectly rare as we ordered despite the thinner cut of meat. Both he steak and roasted vegetable relish was had an amazing Smokey flavor! Only comment would be to have the relish warm instead of cold

Arroz Bec – added this last minute to give one of the rice dishes a try. The combination of mushrooms, sausage and aioli with the rice was delicious. We couldn’t finish to wrapped up to go home and my husband ate it before the end of the night lol

The establishment also only does wine so unfortunately no beers and cocktails. We didn’t ask but would be interested to know if they allowed customers to also BYOB. Looking forward to going back!
