being half Italian I am very fussy when it comes to pizza. I actually make my own and have a woodfired oven at my home. After reviewing many other pizza restaurants in Palm Springs I found many were positive at Palermo‘s when I arrive the lady that took my order was very friendly and very pleasant. I will be happy to tell you that the pizza was outstanding. Don’t hesitate they do a great job.

The best pizza and meatball sandwich! I came in to dine and having previously eaten many pizzas from delivery from them I never dined in so I tried the meatball sandwich. This sandwich caught my eye from the made to order detail. Really was prepared to order, meatballs and the bread fresh and delicious. I cannot emphasize enough the amazing flavors from the work of art. There has never been a meatball sandwich I have enjoyed as much as this. This one is 100times better than any I have ever experienced. Thank you for making this for me!!

If you are reading this I’m doing you a favor…DO NOT EAT HERE or ORDER HERE. I ordered a large cheese pizza and salad using their app, called Slice, for pick up. I placed the order around 553pm and the food would be ready at 638pm. Then I got a second text saying that the order would be ready by 7:09 p.m. On my way to get the pizza they had called saying that it was going to be another 15 minutes. I got to this place and I shared my frustration on how untimely a simple order was. There was a lady who is working the cash register/front area, who proceeded to yell at me explaining that I should have called and also that I should temper my expectations because it was a holiday weekend (MLK) and other pizza places in the area have a 2 to 3 hour wait time. Then a gentleman came from behind ( I believe the owner) who kept saying “I’m defending myself and that we are busy and that it’s better to call them directly for orders.” I suggested that they should review the online ordering app altogether if it is giving inaccurate pick up time. But they continue to be argumentative. I reminded that I’m a customer and some sign of customer service would be appreciated. That’s when they lost it. They both were yelling and accusing me of not being customer friendly. Okaaaaaayyyyy….. Happy New Year

Palermo’s Pizza is truly a gem! The quality, service, and food are all excelled — every single visit is amazing. The owner, Mario, is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. We have been coming here for 2 years and he always remembers my boyfriend and I every time we come in (which is about once a month when I fly out to see my boyfriend), and he always makes us feel like family.
His daughter Sammy is just as wonderful — so kind, attentive, and thoughtful! They genuinely care about their customers. They make sure our pizza never sits out too long so it’s always hot and fresh, and they even call us when it’s almost ready. It’s those personal touches that make Palermo’s stand out.

BY FAR the best, most authentic NY style pizza in the area. Other places don’t know how do a crust and Palermo’s is perfect. Thin, a bit of chew, and holds up the sauce and cheese perfectly. I would never even think about getting a pizza from somewhere else around here. Palermo’s is the best.
