A mid experience. Love the farm to table concept!! unfortunately food from the past looks better than the options now. We were told there is a new chef so options are not the same as before unfortunately. The chili was good & flavorful. The burger was fresh forsure but not extremely flavorful. Would recommend to try though if you’re a burger person.

We stopped in for breakfast, however it was a day they didn’t serve breakfast so that didn’t work out . Anne was our server and I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff in response to our situation. I decided to order the french onion soup, and my company had a cup of chili. We also ordered the California grilled chicken sandwich but the soup and Chilli was so filling we saved the sandwich for later.
The quality of food was above expected and even the coffee was good. The atmosphere was rustic and warm with a old tavern feel to it. The outhouse was actually inside, it was clean and had a cool rustic theme to it as well.

Took my son out for a birthday lunch. Neither of us had been before. We loved it! The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. The service was great- prompt and friendly. The food was delicious. French onion soup, brisket grilled cheese and the 3 way brisket were all amazing. Will definitely be back!

Anne was our waitress and made my birthday special by adding her own flare. She is positive and upbeat. Thanks so much for a fun time.We ordered the mimosas and blood Mary upcycled drinks for adults. Everything was perfect and the brisket was seasoned to perfection.

We love this restaurant. Lots of choices, love the atmosphere and always enjoy anything we order. AND, the best waitress, Anne who is the greatest. We go back when we r in the area. Some other diners ordered Double Mimosas. Holy smokes.

The ribs were inedibly dry and tough. The fried chicken tenders were also super dry. The Mac and cheese was good but not exceptionally flavorful. The cole slaw just tasted like mayo and cabbage. The best part of the meal were the French fries somehow. Overall very disappointing considering the elevated cost. I think the menu/website very much oversells the food. We just moved back into town after a long absence and are trying all the different restaurants in the area. This is one we will never return to.

Awesome restaurant. They use all local ingredients and you can really taste the difference. We ordered these cool drinks call a Bloody Molly and a Don’t Tread on Memosa! They were so interesting and delicious; definitely try them. The interior of the restaurant is unique and feels like an old barn. It is very quaint. The service is always very good and they are very friendly.

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!
My boyfriend took me and his 2 daughters to the Tumbledown Farm to Fork for dinner this Valentine’s evening. My first visit, their 2nd time.
I want to first mention it was chilly sitting at our table the entire time there tonight and I was already warned about this from their first visit to this restaurant. I really don’t like my food being COLD before I can get half way through my meal.
They have a very “cool” (no pun intended) atmosphere, it’s entertaining to look it over and talk about the decor.
The menu has a lot of variety, I saw many things I want to try when I return, and I will.
Since it was Valentine’s Day, they offered a special menu which had some very yummy options you could also order ala carte. See my photos.
The grilled cheese (from the kids menu) was yummy and stringy- from one daughter. The chicken tenders (from the apps ) were spicy- from the other daughter. The chicken with gravy, mashed potatoes and broccoli were good(he took some home so decent portion size) according to my boyfriend. My baked haddock was to come with asparagus and a baked potato but I asked if they had a baked sweet potato and was told no. They offered sweet potato fries and I accepted. When I heard they had broccoli, I asked for that over the asparagus. (It is Valentine’s Day so ….IYKYK! lol)
My haddock was a bit under cooked for my liking but the flavor was good. The thinner end was cooked better for my liking. The fries I ordered from a farm to table establishment was a disappointment. I REALLLY think they were frozen and not fresh cut.
For my first visit, it was promising. I’ll go back and try other options. I’m sure they are worth another visit.

Live music was playing when we got there. Family-friendly place with a nice little menu. We had the wings, which, imo, should have been fried a tad bit more. The French onion soup was top-notch, and I built my own pizza. It was amazing.

Used to order for take out or dine in once almost every week but in the last couple of years it has started taking a serious downturn. We loved this place and would bring any of our friends that were passing through or visiting out to a meal, now any time we go it is a major let down and we leave disappointed. We won’t bring anyone here with us and it has become cringe and a ‘maybe we’ll give them one more try’, each time we go out by ourselves.
If staff doesn’t know the item you are asking for, they will tell you that you must be looking at an old menu if you are ordering for pick up. Even if it is the menu most recently posted on social media (I believe at the time the post was about a month old) or currently posted on the website. I understand changing seasonal menus but a restaurant that is able to post specials daily should be able to ensure the most recent menu available to be checked ahead of dining. In the two or three times we have been told this the next time we went in the menu we had been referencing at the time was the one being provided to dine in.
We’ve had extreme wait times to even see a staff member address us at the waiting area, then be sat down and wait for extended times again.
We had pick up orders missing sides that were requested or listed outright on the menu as well as been sent away with the wrong meals.
Food is lack luster, often overcooked and dry with little sauce or marinade on what use to be flavorful and tender dishes.
It isn’t an issue of a busy weekend or surprise rush as we’ve been in plenty of different times brunch/lunch/dinner weekdays or weekends with the same or similar result.
If you aren’t sitting at the bar be prepared to be ignored or wait a long time before you are acknowledged.
