The Huron St. Cottage Inn is usually excellent. The customer service is great, and the regular delivery driver is wonderful. The pizza normally looks great and tastes fantastic. Unfortunately, today’s experience was a complete surprise and very disappointing.
The order cost **$66.02 for two large pizzas, breadsticks, and a 2‑liter of Diet Pepsi**. For that price, the food should not have been burnt. I’ve never had a dry pizza in my life, but this one was.
The pizza was left on the porch even though I did not request contactless delivery, which suggests this may have been a new delivery driver. When I opened the box, the pizza was dry and burnt, to the point that my children refused to eat it.
I’m going to assume this was due to a new baker and a new delivery driver. Hopefully, the next time we order, the food and service will return to the high standard we’ve come to expect.

The specialty pizzas are really good. I feel like the feta cheese bread has changed since the last time I ordered it, but that was many many years ago. It’s still good, but I like how it used to be.

Ordered from there tonight and instead of them knocking on my door or calling my phone they put my pizza in the cold on my front porch sat there for God knows how long I called them about an hour after I ordered to check out my food and they told me it was sitting on my front porch. I asked what they were gonna do about it and they said I can give me a $10 credit for $70 worth of food that was ice cold.

We love grabbing pizza from this Cottage Inn since it’s so close to our house. However, when grabbing our pizza last night, I witnessed the boss/manager/supervisor (not sure of their role, but they stated they were a boss) saying profanities towards an employee. I was very disappointed to see someone who is in a leadership role speak to their employee like this. I hope there is an opportunity for the individual to apologize to the employee.

Had a pickup order, went in to get it and the girl says the order isn’t ready and would need to wait 15-20 minutes to me and another customer even though there are pizza waiting and we have both said our names. We are waiting and another girl comes from the back and asks it names and the pizza sitting on the counters are ours. Horrible customer service, how hard is it to read people names and give them their pizzas on time so they’re hot and fresh

We used to really enjoy getting takeout from this cottage inn as we live very close and the food was always great. Within the last 6 months it’s been going very downhill unfortunately. The last 3 times we ordered, the pizzas were okay (some were very greasy), but the everything sticks have been almost inedible. Tonight we ordered again hoping things would have gotten better, but not so much. Sandwiches were good but the sticks were not fully cooked, did not have the everything seasoning on them, and had so much butter it was dripping out of the box. How is this acceptable to give to someone?! Not sure if management has changed or what, but someone needs to go over customer service and the proper way to prep food with the employees.

Worst Cottage Inn….my wings were under cooked, super rubbery. I had to air fry them 7 minutes. They also put the was cold bleu cheese dressing in the box of hot wings which would make you sick. Manager said Oh well that’s how it’s done and wouldn’t honor credit promised to me after leaving me on hold 15 minutes. Do not go to this store.
