We look forward to stopping at Harris Ranch on our way south. The best time is during Christmas, as it’s decorated beautifully, and you can always find wonderful surprises at the gift shop.

There are so many tasty dishes to choose from, and they have a great full bar! They have great, family friendly atmosphere, and the place is always packed!

Spent the the New Year in the Bay Area and on the way home back to Vegas, we stopped at this place for Lunch. We are so glad we did. We have driven by this Ranch like 100 billion times (ok maybe not that many but it feels like it) and finally stopped in with my family. The food was amazing, the service was perfect and the atmosphere was phenomenal, not too stuffy but still feels like a treat to be there. I had a BOURBON BACON JAM BURGER, its the one with blue cheese and all kinds of yummy stuff, my mom had the ruben, let me tell you, I hate rye bread but this one was really good, the corned beef was so good and my bestie had the Tri-tip sandwich… omg everything was amazing. Do yourself a favor and stop in. I will dream about my burger, its in my top 5 burgers of all time.

It was my first time eating here and it’s highly recommended if you are using I-5 freeway. The food is fresh, the waiting for food is very fast and the service is efficient. I love the BBQ pulled pork sliders and also their beef nachos. I wasn’t able to get a picture of the nachos but it was pretty good. Would definitely visit again

cool place to stop by if youre travelling quite a ways like we were but certainly not worth most of the prices listed unfortunately. battered green beans and nachos were awesome, but the same could not be said about the country fried steak or the pot roast 🙁 the chowder was also only decent. otherwise, the atmosphere and service were superb! I can’t justify coming here for the price, though, unless you really want fresh steak from the source

Amazing not disappointed at all. We came into a welcoming atmosphere. The cowboy theme carrying all throughout the hall. When we first came here, we were seated yes we had a reservation, but most of the seats were not occupied. First the waiter immediately, asked us if there is anything she could do for us,we put the kids order in, and some drinks, less than 5 minutes the drinks arrived. I highly suggest getting the pomegranate lemonade, for your drink. It is not sweet but not super tart. Even while we’re drinking, we look in awe of the decor. Then the bread came, amazing I suggest you try dipping it in their mouthwatering black bean soup. And finally the medium- well hamburger. It was amazing, it was grilled perfectly , it was juicy and tender, with the vegetables adding on to it. Great Place highly recommended!

Harris Ranch is a pretty neat place. One of my must stops when driving down the interstate from So Cal to No Cal and vice versa. I like to stop in the main building to use the public restroom, admire the pastries at the country store’s bakery counter, and check out the dining options (Horseshoe Lounge, Prime Steakhouse, and Ranch Restaurant).

For the dining options, I usually opt for the Ranch restaurant fit my red meat fix. This past visit, we ate there. The menu is way scaled down, just two pages and that includes their non-alcoholic drink menu.

I ordered the open face steak sandwich $40. It was a 10 oz New York steak served on a butter piece of toast. Yes toast, not a roll as in the past. The steak was delicious though. The marbling was good, giving it tenderness and flavor. They topped the steak with melted butter. I don’t recall that from before; hey def not complaining on that move. Butter makes everything better. The entree came with a side; I chose the baked spud. It was a biggum. Hubs ordered a small chopped salad. It was a mere $6.95, one of the cheaper items on the menu.

Our food came out fairly quickly, drinks refilled, and dishes taken away. But our tab included an extra soda that we never ordered. This was pointed out to our waiter and he quickly fixed it and apologized.

This place is such an experience. The steaks are great and it is the most amazing vibe. It’s in what seems to be the middle of nowhere on the 5, and it’s the perfect stop. It is pricey, but I have had some of the best steaks ever here. You have to stop and try it once.

The Bourbon Bacon Jam Burger is worth a trip back to Harris Ranch. My 1/2 pound burger was cooked perfectly (medium) and came with an amazing bacon jam topping and crispy onions along with a funky, lucious cheese. The letuce was perfectly placed to keep the bun dry. Two nice pickle spears were on the side. The burger came with sweet potato fries that were perfectly crisp.

One note: I found buried in my burger a broken off wood “doneness pick”…I’m pretty sure it was not visible when I cut the burger and hoisted half for my first bite. So caution!

Yeah, $26 is pricy for a burger. That said, if you’re looking for a pretty amazing burger, the Harris Kitchen Bourbon Bacon Jam burger is worth a try!!

Great stop off freeway. Cool merch shop. Food was decent and fairly priced. Only had a salad and soup so can’t talk the Ranch meat. Although looks amazing! Great bar setting. Tons of Tesla chargers on the property. Had breakfast too, the corn beef hash, top notch!

Stopped in to fill the Tesla tank on the way back from Sacramento. We got a lucky spot right in front of the entrance.

Our huge, tasty omelette and short order of pancakes was ordered and consumed within the 35 or so minutes on the charge.

Busy busy busy this Sunday morning at 9:30 but the staff was super efficient and very friendly.

I’ve been here before the days of Yelp and ate a steak. I remember that being good as well.

Has long been a nice experience.
