They have the best baked beans around, they’re spicy but I couldn’t quit eating them! Also had the Texas Chili and a Brisket sandwich, both were pretty good. Last but definitely something I’ll get every single time I go through the area camping….. Texas Twinkies! OMG are they amazing!!!

Brisket: dry or overcooked, not the least bit tender. Also small portion for the price.
Fortunately I asked for a side of ribs (3) and they were fall off the bone tender and delicious. The peach sauce was very good.
Mac and cheese was watered down somehow. Corn was a good side. Their pepper starter looked really good, wish I could have tried it.
Daily special was gumbo and my wife enjoyed it!

DB’s is known as some of the best BBQ in the country! There are many awards hanging that prove it. Try anything from their menu and you will love it. It is clear everything here is made with love. My friend and I both had the pulled pork sandwiches mine with mustard sauce and his with savory sauce, both delicious! Will be returning anytime I’m up in Lucinda!

Have come here a minimum of once a year since 2015. The food is always consistent & I travel from Philadelphia (5hr drive) just to come here & have this BBQ. If that doesn’t encourage everyone to come try this place, I don’t know what else will. I did notice portions have gone down a little bit but prices are fair for the amount of food & for the quality of the food. Great energy and the boss-man always thanks everyone for trying the food & coming back. Can’t wait to get back up here. Until next time, DB’s!

Reviewed 5 years ago and gave 5 stars. 2024 and now 3 stars due to price and smaller portions. The 2 meat plate increased $10 from 3 years ago. The nothin but meat plate doubled in price from $24.50 to $49. The prices increased much more than inflation and the portions of meat are noticeably smaller. I can get much more value from Devils BBQ but wish they were open Sundays.

This is a gem worth taking a drive to get to it. Food is excellent. Over a couple visits, we tried the pulled pork, brisket, smoked turkey and numerous sides – all were excellent. Having lived in the south for many years and traveling to Texas, I can tell you “these people know their BBQ”!

The brisket platter says it comes with 1/2 a pound of brisket. The portion we got was tiny and definitely nowhere close to 1/2 a pound. We confronted the cook and they told us it actually weighed out to less than 1/3 of a pound. They are just blatantly ripping people off . For 30 bucks, it should come with a lot more food. After admitting to ripping us off, they offered nothing to make it right. The only positive thing I can say is that that the small amount of food that we did get was quite tasty.

Incredible spot. Amazing bbq (genuinely some of the best I’ve ever had) with a unique and inviting charm. The people who run the show here are amazing and very friendly. We actually went to a bbq rib cook off the day after we stopped here and the food was nowhere near as good. 10/10 must try this place.
We got the bbq pulled pork sandwich and the bbq brisket sandwich, both were insanely good. Really loved the hot raspberry sauce.

The food here is honestly great. Many places claim to have the “best” bbq but this place has got the staff, the awards and recognition to back up that claim. Definitely some of the best bbq I’ve had so far. I’m definitely coming back for more next time I’m in Lucinda, PA.
