Surprisingly good. I hadn’t been here since they added grill foods to their menu, 20+ years ago. Back then, I wasn’t impressed, but I also wasn’t writing.
Great fries. Very good onion rings. Very good burgers and a, “…think this is the best Philly Cheese Steak I’ve had, and I’ve been to Moe’s in Philadelphia”, said another in our small group.
Perhaps we will return for another try.

Highly overlooked gem in Valley Center. We haven’t been here to many times, but every time we have we leave happy. The hot pastrami sandwich is my all time favorite from this place. I highly recommend all sandwich lovers to give this place a try!

I like this place. They’re barbecue sandwich was not great but their fries were awesome. My son had a Phillys steak sandwich and he liked it. They serve Orange Julius their. Or something like it. I like the way it looks and there’s a huge variety of food to choose from. Large menu. I’m at the owners and they’re very nice.

I got a seasme bagel and it was toasted like a solid rock. Half of it was eaten and than it was brought to the attention of the young deli attendant. She apologize and said some bagels come out toasted /hard and that next time it would be lightly toasted. How difficult is it to make a bagel. All you do is put it in the toaster. Also the chicken croissant was not good. Only half of it was eaten.

Stopped here for lunch on the way to the snow on Palomar Mountain. Although the decor inside is nothing fancy, the four sandwiches we ordered were very filling and so delicious we had to take a bite or two before taking photos!

The best patty melt in North County, hands down! I’ve had plenty of melts from other spots, but when I eat here, the patty melt literally melts in your mouth! Best seasoned fries, too! Although it’s a smaller place, it packs a big punch!

Accessibility: pretty accessible place! They have disabled parking, the parking lot is paved and flat ground, and all flat ground to enter the building. The door to enter is a single pull door. There is seating inside but it is all high tables (not made for wheelchairs). There are a few tables outside, under a covered patio, with moveable chairs and wheelchair accessible tables.
Experience: the food here is pretty good! I really enjoy the turkey sandwich and grilled cheese sandwiches. The kids like the hot chocolate!
Masks: masks are currently mandated in California, and all the employees were wearing masks, but none of the customers coming in and eating inside had masks.

The sandwich was the most expensive I ever paid like $15.. for a Philly sandwich, insane. I found something chewy in my meat.. had to spit it out, the sandwich was okay. The place was clean inside tho. The cashier didn’t even say hi, welcome, or anything. I approached and he stayed quiet, :/ idk try it yourself folks and let me know.

Stopped by this place for a quick bite while I was around Valley Center. They had a sign that service might take a whe due to being understaffed so yes, it might take a while for a small meal. I will say it’s a bit on the pricier side but portions are pretty good.
I got myself a croissant sandwich with turkey and avocado and 2 cupcakes. The sandwich was jammed with delicious toppings and thankfully cut too!! I got the jelly roll and red velvet cupcakes which were both very yummy! Their seasoning on the fries are soooo good!
The interior of the place is super cute, giving country deli vibes! Staff is also very friendly and patient with accommodations on food!

I have never had anything on their menu that I don’t like. I try to a different sandwich each time I go to get the experience. They even have ice cream, shakes and a coffee section!
