More taqueria like than most of the Mexican restaurants in the area. Also better. Strip center location. Order at counter and food is delivered to your table. The restaurant is clean and bright.

We ordered street tacos asada 4.5/5, pastor 3/5, and carnitas 4/5. Chicken quesadillas 5/5 and a chicken taco salad 4.5/5. The house made salsas while good lacked the heat I was hoping for.

Absolutely the best Mexican food in the county. A small “hole in the wall” with excellent food, great service, reasonable prices & great margaritas. The margaritas are very good & only $8!! Try the blended strawberry margarita, it is awesome! Let me also recommend the chile relleno if you like chiles. These folks are a very friendly Mexican family that have been a wonderful addition to our community. Try them & you will be a regular customer. Rob Thomason, Kingston

This is definitely going to become a regular place to eat at. The atmosphere is spacious and easy. The food is out of this world good. I enjoyed their sopes and my wife had street tacos. Besides the flavorful meals, their salsa is what seals the deal. You get three options right at your table and you don’t want to miss out. My favorite was the Tomatillo, a zippy little number that makes you want to take it for a spin on the floor.
The staff were very friendly and relaxed, giving the atmosphere a very chill vibe.
We can’t wait to go back and try other tasty things.

On a recent trip passing through Kingston for a concert, I stumbled upon Los Tres Compadres, a cozy Mexican spot that turned out to be a delightful surprise. This family-owned taqueria offers authentic flavors in a casual, welcoming atmosphere—perfect for a quick bite before the show. I opted for their street tacos, and they were nothing short of amazing. The chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, while the pork tasted fantastic. Paired with their house-made salsas—green and red options that pack just the right kick—and a squeeze of lime, these tacos rivaled any I’ve had from a big-city food truck.
The service was friendly and fast, ideal for a pre-concert stop, and the staff even checked in to ensure everything was spot-on. The vibe inside was colorful and relaxed, with reasonable prices that won’t break the bank. Though the menu isn’t massive, it’s thoughtfully curated, offering burritos, enchiladas, and more, all made with fresh ingredients. My only wish? That they stayed open later for post-concert cravings! If you’re passing through Kingston—whether for a concert or just a quick meal—Los Tres Compadres is a must-visit for taco lovers seeking authentic, delicious eats.

Small place but tasty food. We tried the pastor and beef tacos and are 100% authentic. Kids option are regular, at least the Mac and cheese. Horchata is good. Staff was friendly and made us feel like a true restaurant in Mexico.

So Good!!!! They don’t offer a particularly large menu, but I prefer a restaurant that limits their menu to things they do well – and that’s certainly the case here!

I keep wanting to try more items on the menu, but now find it hard to deviate from my favorite – the California burrito. $13.42 for a HUGE burrito with steak, potato, avocado… SO YUM.

Staff is courteous and food is put together really quickly.

The friendly and accommodating staff is only outpaced by the delicious food and mouth watering salsas.
Trust me when I say I’ve toured in search of phenomenal, authentic, fresh Mexican food and Los Tres Compadres is a must-stop if you find yourself near or passing through Kingston.
The steak was juicy and the tacos would rival your favorite street taco shop or truck. Their salsa verde was mildly spicy and flavorful while the red salsa had a heat which would satisfy most.
We’re visiting from out of town and should we find ourselves passing through again on our travels we’ll absolutely stop again.
Support local while not compromising on some of the best food in the north puget sound region. ¡Salud Los Tres Compadres!
