Reviews
Food was average to pretty good, great presentation.
Waitress was prompt and attentive.
Though one of the rolls came out much later than the others so the rest of the table was almost done.
I was mad annoyed at first that the entire menu has almost no photo but hey, they are certainly entitled to give zero effort for their pricing. GODMN!! $13 something for a bake Lion king is unheard of.
It’s most definitely not cheap but quite affordable. For 3 rolls and 2 entrees accompany with miso soup/salad, I paid about $90. I got the North, Spider-Man, and LionKing rolls. Can you tell which is which? Me neither. Hella have no idea what the heck they were even when comparing to the description on the menu. I liked the one with the salmon and crab meat.
But did you look at the meat ratio to the rice portion of my chicken and beef teriyaki?!? That is GENEROUS even tho neither the chicken nor beef look any different. Get the beef tho.
Now taste wise, the food came out COLD. But what matter is that you will 100% got bang for your buck even tho dine in seems to have a bigger portion compared to togo from the review photo.
The only thing impressed me the most was the way they organize their seating. Look at how many parties they can fit in that tiny spot!!!! Bravo 🙂
Here is how it the experience went .. we gave this spot a shot, hoping for sushi and a comfortable dinning experience where I could continue to embarrass myself .
Instead, a tragedy: HER chopstick snapped while eating… a SALAD. Not a crunchy roll, not tempura, or even an innocent little duck that we could have raised into something beautiful … nope just an innocent salad. And yes, I laughed. I shouldn’t have, I know, and I regret it deeply. Her stunning red dress was nearly ruined in the chaos, and instead of rising to the occasion, I failed by laughing…. I did grab napkins, unfortunately she requested them…
One star — mostly for the chopstick debacle, the sub par food, and mid presentation…. but yeah not living up to the moment didn’t help. I’m really thinking I’ll get this dating thing down before long… because treasure hunts and thoughtful gifts only go so far with someone you like a lot
