Snug up against the Mekong river, this restaurant is on several levels down from the street. The menu is geared somewhat towards foreigners, as is the selection if cocktails, wine and beer.

Friendly wait staff speak English (one or two really well) and the place has a very relaxed vibe

I have mixed feelings about this place. The food itself was really good, but the service after our main course was disappointing.

After clearing our plates, the waitress asked whether we would like dessert. We both ordered sticky mango rice. We then waited around 25 minutes, after which another waiter came to ask if we wanted desserts. When we told him we had already ordered, we were informed—after another 10 minutes—that only one sticky mango rice was available and were asked whether one of us would like coconut ice cream instead. I declined and said we would just have the single sticky mango rice.

After a total wait of about 40 minutes, the dessert arrived. A few minutes later, they also brought coconut ice cream. Given the excessive waiting time and the clear lack of communication between staff, we thought this was a complimentary gesture.

However, when the bill arrived, we were charged for both desserts. When we questioned this, the staff insisted that we had ordered the ice cream, which we had not. I asked to speak to the manager but was told that “the manager went home.”

In the end, we paid for both desserts and left feeling frustrated. It’s a nice restaurant with a lovely view, but unfortunately the staff seemed disorganised and poorly coordinated.

Chill and crowded place . We ordered pizza as recommened, a kind like fish belly dish, papaya salad, egg rice. The pizza is so so but much expensive. The belly fish is terrible maybe it is not our taste, the salad is too much salty and with a distinct fish sauce smell. We ate this salad dish in other places, it was better. We stayed there more than 1 hours before waiting. We also ordered mango stick rice, but after 1 hour, they came and said it was sold out. The dishes much expensive compare its value.

They say it is a must go when you’re in Luang Prabang.
They serve multiple choices of food, from Laos cuisine to Western ones. Happy hours from 5 to 7 is a plus if you’re keen on having Laos craft beer with cheap price. We had pizza, which is pretty thin and cracked , interesting though!
Staffs speak good english. Easy to communicate and friendly.
I heard that they do live music at weekend but not have a chance to try, what a pity!

Really nice setting down by the river. Comfortable vibe and a great place to chat with friends. The cost was very reasonable considering the mountain of food we all ordered. Delicious pizzas cooked the right way too. Would definitely recommend.

I found this place by accident when we booked a dinner cruise tour on the Mae Kong River, which is operated by this restaurant. We had to wait here before the cruise started. I came around 5 PM and they had a happy hour—buy 1 get 1 free for cocktails. The place has a chill vibe, nice scenery, and good music. The staff were very kind and friendly. The decorations are very good, with a beautiful Lao-style design that makes the place feel special. It’s a great spot to relax before the cruise or just enjoy a drink by the river.

Ideal place for chilling on a rainy day. Soak up the Mekong running past from the comfort of your cushions. Big menu with lots of choices. The pizza is pretty good thin base and crispy with decent cheese. Shakes and juices are good. Limited space and fairly popular even on a rainy day in low season. Vibe is definitely casual and relaxed. Very green and lush surroundings and views are great from here.
