A nice Indian restaurant in Richmond, we ordered a few things to share between the three of us. Loved the usual starters, the Dahi Puri and tried something new the Papdi Chaat but I think I’ll prefer the Samosa Chaat.
Two curries, the prawn butter masala and the shahi paneer. A non-vegetarian and vegetarian for a nice balance. Nice and sweet to go with our garlic naan. Tried a garlic paratha which is similar and slightly harder than a roti. The mango lassi is thicker than expected but was still nice. Quick service and a spacious restaurant. Thanks for the dinner Parathaas.

The Dahi Puri was bursting with the perfect balance of flavors.
Chole Bhature were soft, fluffy, and paired with rich chole, green chutney, pickle and onion.
The paneer and aloo parathas (made with ghee) were stuffed “generously” and served hot with dahi, green chutney and achaar as sides.
And the chai was strong, aromatic, and the perfect end to a comforting meal. Highly recommended!
Reminds me of the typical Dhaba Food and ghr ka khana
Their freshly made parathaas and garlic naan was the top highlight!!
We tried the Butter Chicken Masala, Sarson da Saag Paneer (spinach), and Aloo Masala (potato)! So tasty and fragrant. My favourite was easily the Butter Chicken Masala!
You must try the Lemon Masala Soda and Mango Lassi with your meal- the soda in particular was a perfect way to wash all the curries down
The chilli paratha was a standout on the breads although all were good.
The two Curries we got, a chicken and prawn were good, as was the chaat we had as an entree. The dhal was forgettable but overall a satisfying meal.
