The finest bread in Washington. Very high quality food made with love! Fantastic atmosphere, I love the smell when you walk in the door. You might even get to say hi to one of the cats roaming the premises!

Very limited menu and hours but fantastic items. Their bread will put hair on your chest. As soon as you get it gone put in in a plastic bag, otherwise after a few days the crust will get so hard that you can not cut it with a bread knife.
Their apple oatmeal cookies are to die for as is their Brie and tomato baguette sandwiches.
Only open Friday through Sunday.

We got a marionberry pie and a baguette. The crust of the pie is the star, it is a shortbread crust and it’s not like the typical pie crust you’re used to. The filling was a little shy if life but enjoyable, it was like a normal cherry but without the tart. The baguette was ok, but don’t get it at the end of the day (save price normal but just as hard as day old).

I stop here every time I can when I’m hiking in central Washington. The ham and butter baguette is my go-to, and I usually add a pastry for good measure – this time I added the black bottom cupcake. The quality here is high. The team is friendly. The vibe is great. I usually eat in the nice outdoor seating area, but this time I took it to eat at one of the picnic tables along Tumwater Canyon. This place is definitely worth the stop on your drive to or from Wenatchee.

The tomato Brie sandwich is to die for and I absolutely loved the fruit tart. Quality of the bread and pastry is unexpectedly exceptional. Was disappointed that I had to use the portable toilets though and there was no place to wash my hands properly. Very nice outdoor seating! Nowhere to sit inside though.

Excellent bread, sandwiches, pastries, and cookies plus a variety of unique gourmet gifts. They do sell out, but everything is delicious so it is worth going late as well as early. My personal obsession in the Marionberry pie, which they also have frozen. The only negative is turning left on the 2 if heading west.

Our car broke down but we were able to coast off the freeway to just outside the bakery parking lot. The place was closed, but one of the workers was just leaving and stayed to help connect us to a towing service, and recommend auto repair shops and lodging nearby. He even gave us the last pastries of the day (a cinnamon roll and an almond croissant) and they were absolutely delicious, I can’t imagine how good they would have been fresh out of the oven.
The bakery has a beautiful garden, delicious food, and the nicest staff that you could ask for.

Before coming here you have to understand: this is a 30 years of hard work of one small family in each single detail. Everything what you will find here is house made or local products. Your coffee more likely will be made by the owner and all the baked goods the way it is for a reason. This place is a one-of-a-kind treasure find if you are able to appreciate “people to people” business.
Otherwise there is a Subway less then a mile away!

If you’ve never driven through Cashmere before, don’t make the incorrect assumption that it will be a quaint mountain town like Leavenworth. We decided to make the trek to Anjou and were disappointed to realize it was a farm style building on the side of the high way. Inside, it was pretty standard fair – some sandwiches, sweets, and espresso based drinks. It was all good, but I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way like we did. There are options in Leavenworth that are on-par or better.
