I work right around the corner from this place. The staff are friendly and they give you big portions the fajita plate is what you want. Get the one with beef and onions with a fresh flour tortilla. When they have the little bar stocked behind you , you have other options. Salsa is on point. I love it. Sometimes it can be slow but it’s worth it. Try it for yourself. Big fan of Laredo Taco but this place is sad . Bad customer service. Had to pay at gas station counter not at there register by the time I came back she was already cooking my Shrimp Fajita Quesadilla was unable to even ask for customizations just what is your order ok here pay this then come back and not even a min later I came back and watching my order become the most bland meal of all time. Would like some salsa or onions put in, I don’t mind paying extra if needed for idk sour cream and guacamole. Also why is all the food mislabeled and half of it has already gone bad? 10/10 would not come back nor recommend this location. It’s sad I’ve been to all but 1 other located at a truckstop and this is my first bad experience

The food is good but the service leaves a lot to be desired. There’s never a person at the station, you wait for ages until you get someone to help. I go in the gas station everyday to buy coffee or something to drink, now if I don’t see anyone behind the counter I just skip it. Why not put a bell or something to ring for service if they’re doing something else in the back?

The first time I ate here, I was disgusted by the service, food, and cleanliness. But now there is a new employee named Bebe (I hope I’m spelling that correctly). She is very polite, efficient and extremely clean. The food was excellent! It was perfectly cooked/prepared, mess free and neatly presented. I wouldn’t want any other person working there when I stop by to grab a bite to eat. She truly is a blessing 🙂 Thank you Bebe for the wonderful meal and experience!

I was referred by a truck driver from a different state to try them if I came this way and upon arrival walking through those doors when I saw that backsplash above the grill and their side oven they have, I simply turned around and said nope that is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. There is only two gentlemen one has dreads. The other one has a shortcut (black males ) they are the only two that were in their nice speaking and representing everyone else was a no go. The food looked and smell good, but with the representation of what’s behind what’s being cooked on that let me know that the remainder of the store was disgusting I will try again, maybe in a month or two but as of right now no . PLEASE DO BETTER!

I’ve noticed a huge difference in the atmosphere at this location, now that some of the bad seeds are gone. Brandon, Ciji, Quincy, Latisha, Annie, And Nate have served me at least once or twice. Great Customer service from all. Food was fresh, the area is cleaner and the grill isn’t as bad as it used to be. I can tell this team cares about the customer and the quality of the food. Great job guys ❤️

So I’m not one to usually eat gas station food but one day I was making a quick stop in Speedway for water and caramel M&Ms (don’t judge me lol) and while inside I smelled HEAVEN. Like a full stomach growling mouth watering whiff of aromatic freshly cooked goodness not the usual greasy fried food and old grease smell some places have. I asked the Speedway attendant if the food was actually as good as it smells, I was immediately reassured by another unrelated patron that “BRANDON IS GOING TO COOK YOU UP SOMETHING THAT’LL HOOK YOU AND HAVE YOU COMING EVERYDAY LIKE ME.” I was recommended the chipotle shrimp bowl which I had with beans, rice, cheese and heavy jalapeno (I like it spicy ) with their house sauces. It is honest to say that for it being “fast food” it’s cooked fresh, the ingredients are fresh and it’s cooked to perfection (by Brandon, Quincy or Annie). I’ve been here at least 8 more times in the short time since I was urged to try it by the nice boisterous Speedway customer who also left with a bowl of culinary delicious-ness. I hadn’t been able to catch the horchata when I was going but I whined enough that the staff made sure I got a large cup on my last visit and for a gas station’s horchata it was so good so I see why I always miss it. I can say the portions are great and the staff are phenomenal… So if you’re EVER in the area stop on in and hopefully you can get Brandon, Quincy or Annie to cook you up a bowl, burrito or taco that will leave you completely hooked as well. They don’t only have shrimp but I’m a shrimp lover, they have chicken, beef and pork options as well as the shrimp which comes in both spicy and not spicy. Oh and before I forget my kids are huge fans too their bowl is hefty enough for them to share (their 7 and 13) but too large for them to eat alone.
