What a lovely surprise to find this pleasant lunch spot in the Department of Forestry building. The service was extra attentive, and the food was excellent. My felafel salad had felafel that had the perfect amount of crunch on the outside and a delicately seasoned center. I would definitely recommend a trip to Aromas.

Breakfast (and lunch) is excellent. Food is authentic mediterranean delivering exquisite taste while being healthy. Staff is friendly and will bend over backwards to accommodate. Wine selections are good too.
Special events are that, special. Studebaker Jones is excellent with good harmony and excellent voices. Great food, great music and a relaxing atmosphere are the perfect way to end the work week.

Just terrible. You walk in and are immediately put at ease by the very charismatic owner – you order some things, he makes suggestions and is very attentive, very chatty, always talking a lot. The food takes a long time to come. It is pretty good, but also a bit too expensive all things considered.
Then the bill comes and it is egregious. The house special the owner “suggested” was $10 more than anything listed on the menu. The entire receipt is itemized and every drink, every dish has the same name “SPECIAL” and the price next to it. The owner suddenly switches to being absent and then extremely rude when you try to talk to him about the receipt. He does not help with figuring out what each item ordered was. He says they do not do separate checks.
This guy is a crook. He pulls you in, is very chatty and over the top and tricks you into ordering a very expensive meal, creates a receipt system that makes it difficult to realize just how much he screwed you over, and then suddenly is quite angry and doesn’t talk anymore or disappears.

I stopped in today for lunch and had an amazing eggplant parm and salad. The salad arrived first and had a delicious dressing. The wild greens mix was super fresh and the radishes were sliced to enjoy (not the way too thick mainstays). The eggplant parm was yummy because the eggplant were fried well and recent and the tomato sauce had a bit of spice which was a welcome twist. The food arrived quickly and I was in and out.

We had them cater our wedding and the food was spectacular! The guests were raving about it. They are out of the way but definitely worth checking out if you are looking for well-priced Mediterranean food for your next event in Cville.

A clean and modern space tucked away in the Dept of Forestry building, and worth the short drive! They have an excellent, fresh, made to order Mediterranean menu table served by prompt, friendly staff. I had the lamb sausage sandwich and never had lamb taken to that level. I can’t describe it, you need to try it! My wife had the sampler and we finished with baklava. All delicious!
