Great location with tons of parking. Quick service. Among the best real pizza I’ve had in my 32 years in rochester. I’ve never been here before today and I am stunned and amazed at the perfection of the simple joy of a hot regular slice.

I grew up on NYC pizza. I’ve moved around the country in the last 20 years. While some of the pizza in Rochester is pretty good, it’s not NYC style pizza. I heard The Pizza Stop had authentic New York pizza. I stopped in today and wasn’t dissapointed. Beautiful thin crust with a little bit of a flop. The sauce is on point. Best pizza I’ve had in 20 years. This will be my go to spot. Give it a try, you won’t be dissapointed. Great pizza, thank you!

My experience with Pizza Stop in Greece was so unacceptable that I feel people should know what happened.
My husband brought home a pizza last night 11/6, and when we opened it, we realized it wasn’t what we ordered. I called the restaurant to let them know, expecting a quick, polite fix. Instead, the woman who answered the phone — who said she was the manager — quickly became frustrated and impatient. She kept asking for our phone number but couldn’t seem to hear it, and when I asked her to explain the solution she was offering, she got noticeably irritated.
Then, the situation escalated in a way I never could have expected. She began raising her voice, talking over me, and eventually started screaming — truly screeching at me over the phone. It was so loud and aggressive that I had to hold the phone away from my ear. I asked her several times to stop speaking to me that way, but she just got louder and more hostile. When I asked to speak to the owner, she said he was in another town and then told me — still yelling — to never order from them again.
It was shocking, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable behavior from someone representing a business. Everyone makes mistakes with orders sometimes, but the way this was handled was beyond disrespectful. I would strongly caution anyone thinking of ordering from here.

My husband paid for a pizza through Too Good to Go yesterday. The order details said to pick it up between 7-8pm tonight. My husband arrived around 7:30. The kid working said they were out of pizza and the ovens were off. They don’t close until 8:00. My husband told the kid that the pizza was already paid for and he had already driven 20 minutes to pick up the pizza. He asked the worker to make a pizza for him. The worker refused to turn the oven back on to make a pizza and refused to refund my husband’s money when my husband asked about a refund. He told my husband that he needed to leave. My husband asked to talk to the owner. The worker refused to call the owner. While my husband was leaving, the owner’s brother walked in and said someone would call my husband tomorrow. Given how Pizza Stop did not follow through with the pizza order that was already paid for, I doubt they will follow through with calling him back. At this point, Pizza Stop has stolen my husband’s money. Not only did we pay for a pizza that Pizza Stop refused to give us, but we also are out the gas and time for 40 minutes of driving round trip.
Update: My husband just got an email from Too Good to Go that Pizza Stop said they needed to cancel his order. This was at 8:30pm. Pizza Stop closed at 8:00. My husband showed up at Pizza Stop at 7:30. Pizza Stop contacting the third party app to contact the my husband with a note saying the order is cancelled an hour after the incident took place seems really sloppy and unprofessional on Pizza Stop’s part. It seems like they’re trying to make it seem like the order was cancelled in advance of my husband showing up to pick it up as some inappropriate way to do damage control. It’s less about the small amount of money spent and more about the fact that my husband did 40 minutes of round trip driving without getting the pizza simply because some kid was trying to close up early.

The Pizza Stop is my family and girlfriend’s favorite pizza place. Pizza is always amazing and the staff are always great. One of the workers was so nice and conversational, she made this kind of pizza for the first time ever and wanted us to call back to share how she did. She of course did absolutely amazing. It’s their Spinach, Artichoke Hearts, and Ricotta pizza. Get it!

We’ve been trying so hard to find a pizza joint with good, THIN crust pies. We had a regular go-to that closed down recently. FINALLY, we decided to try The Pizza Stop in Greece after about every other place near us in Gates. The pizza was perfectly thin, and the sauce was super tasty! I would have given it a perfect score except for 1 thing, the price. It’s one of the more expensive places we’ve tried. We have a family of 5, so we try to find value where we can. Does the quality match the price point? Absolutely. Will this be our new regular go-to? Maybe. It’s definitely the front runner in our immediate area.

I got a slice of plain pizza here today. It was some of the best pizza I ever had. My only regret was only getting 1 slice. I might be back tomorrow again.
The pizza had amazing sauce. The sauce is usually key to whether the pizza is great pizza or not. The cheese to sauce ratio was perfect. The crust was thin and delicious. The pizza was not burnt or undercooked. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know who likes pizza.

I traveled to New York today, a 9.5-hour drive. Upon arrival, I was looking forward to trying authentic New York pizza. We found a local pizzeria where I ordered two cheese slices and a drink. When my order arrived, it contained mixed pepperoni. I informed the server, who offered to provide another slice, but it was placed on the same plate as the meat slices. I explained that I have an allergy, yet no offer was made to prepare a fresh pizza. For individuals with food allergies or dietary restrictions, I would advise caution when dining here.
