My friend and I had dinner there. They do more takeout than dining in it seemed on a Monday night. The owner was so personable as was the gentleman serving. The food was great. We had the Tokyo Tower but with salmon only, a conch salad, an order of roce noodles, and an Off Da Chain Roll. Oh, and we also had a full bottle of cabaret and for a charge of only $13.95, I was expecting the worst and was pleasantly surprised. No headache the next day! Also, ask to try the made in-house Pineapple sake!

Family moved from up north and has been complaining that they were missing NY Chinese food. Did my research and pulled up on this little gem. Don’t let the location deter you…the food is excellent! Had the wings as apps and the General Tsao chicken as entree which was surprisingly all white meat! Family went with the chicken and broccoli. We also had the house special fried rice and it was all great. Food was hot and fresh. Had enough leftovers for dinner the next day and it was still great. I will be back!

I visited Rice up at 1748 N University Dr in Pembroke Pines, and the experience was very disappointing. The restaurant was completely empty, and the server looked unprofessional, wearing shorts and with messy hair. I ordered a Coke Zero, and she never brought it—she focused only on to-go orders and ignored my table.
The service was slow, careless, and overall not welcoming. Now I understand why the place was empty.
I do not recommend this restaurant for dine-in. It’s clearly not a place meant for dining in; they should probably operate only as a take-out spot. Poor service and not worth the visit.

The Sashimi and Sushi rolls are exceptional! Usually you could only find these in a 5-star hotel. The fried rice noodle is a house special – you couldn’t find it elsewhere.
