With fresh local goods in our attached market, an on-site butcher, craft beverages, and delectable cuisine featuring local ingredients, Sackett’s Table will offer a refreshing dining experience and a delightful downtown market at 23 Bridge Street. The market and butcher shop is open Tuesday-Saturday from noon until 9pm; and our restaurant is open for dine-in or takeout service from 5pm until 9pm. Great experience here during the It’s A Wonderful Life 79th Anniversary weekend. Super friendly staff & chef! Nice wine selection, with some local Finger Lake’s choices. Started with the grilled Caesar and calamari apps. Both were excellent choices.
Entree was the chicken special, with a hazelnut, sage sauce. The manchego mashed potatoes were off the charts, as a chef’s side. Service was excellent even on that fairly busy Thursday – before the big event dates. Must go back next time we’re in Seneca Falls! The assorted market items, as you enter, are worth checking out,as well as the meat selections. One of the best places we’ve been to in a while. Highly recommended! And to boot – it’s on the street where the famous bridge is, that Capra based his on, from the movie!

This place is very small but the flavor of the food is very big! Knowledgeable friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Service was a little slow but not bad enough to knock down my rating. The flavor of the food was incredible. Locally sourced ingredients as much as possible and scratch preparation. Highly recommend but be sure to make a reservation as there are very few tables.

As a Finger Lakes influencer, I’ve dined at many local restaurants, and Sackett’s Table in Auburn remains one of my absolute favorites. The service is always outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food is creative, delicious, and thoughtfully sourced with seasonal ingredients. There’s no need to dress up here…just come as you are and enjoy the relaxed, inviting bar atmosphere. A true hidden gem in the Finger Lakes! I’m a big fan.

MJ was my server and she is absolutely amazing. I came twice in a week and definitely would do it again when I am in town again.
First time I ate the fish special and it was fresh and delicious (Grouper francaise with risotto as a side). Yum.
Second time I had to try one of the steak selections, considering their market side. Perfectly cooked NY strip with an amazing prepared horseradish sauce on the side, mashed potatoes…
And that was the entries. I also had the appetizer special which was delicious and a on the menu pork belly…
Can’t recommended enough. If I lived in the area, I would be a regular without a doubt.

I ordered the Delmonico steak, and it was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and seasoned exactly right. But what truly sets Sackets apart are the sides. Each one was crafted with care and flavor balance that honestly rivals, if not exceeds, anything I’ve had at a James Beard–recognized restaurant.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with service that strikes the perfect balance between attentive and relaxed. You can tell this team takes genuine pride in what they do.

WOW. An amazing find and much needed as our previous favorite, Halsey’s in Genveva, closed and has yet to re-open. Halsey’s was like visiting family with familar staff and guess what, Sackett’s has re-created that same feeling…but even more initmate. The food is amazing and the staff…well not staff…but a return to family (some of the staff migrated from Halsey’s)…we could not have been more pleased. Every dish and beverage was amazing from pear martini to sangria for libations to grilled Caesar salad and homemade sausage (so good) appetizers to pasta primivera and tenderloin tips, truly an epicurean delight. Large portions and reasonable prices, we had a full meal of leftovers for a second round the next night at home…and the food was just as delicious as the original serving at Sackett’s. Next visit (there will be many), we will bring friends so we can explore a Tomahawk steak (min 2lbs!). We have discovered our new favorite “home” to visit in the area. If going on a weekend, may want to have reservations, since seating is limited. Don’t hesitate to treat yourself and friend to an amazing epicurean adventure…just don’t take my table 🙂

The food here was absolutely fantastic. My steak, mash potatoes, and green beans were perfect. I had scallops as an appetizer.
The were so good, I ordered another one. The bread they serve is the best bread I ever had in a restaurant so far. They should start selling it by the loaf.
The service was friendly and informative. I went on a Wednesday at around 7pm and sat down at a table right away.
I would recommend Sackett’s Table to anyone and will come back if I am in the area.

This hidden gem was a fantastic surprise for my friends and me last night. Situated near the little bridge from “It’s a Wonderful Life“, we had an amazing meal. Everything was perfect – appetizers included, grilled octopus, homemade whipped ricotta, and a version of a blooming onion called a blooming mushroom made with oyster mushroom. It was out of this world! Two of us had the fish special Walleye Pike, on a bed of yummy risotto. Hats off to the chef, whose preparation was immaculate, no bones! If you know anything about eating pike, it’s almost impossible to debone during prep. And it was delicious. As was the homemade Bolognese enjoyed by our third in the group. We enjoyed our desserts and coffee, and went home feeling satisfied and happy. Highly recommend, well worth an hours drive. Do it!
