Ordered the 2 meat plate with chicken and pork. The pork had a great smoke taste and was really good. The chicken was overcooked it chicken is hard to manage. The plate did come with pound cake which was really good.
The pork sandwich with fries was good. The sauces tasted more like wing sauce than bbq sauce. Overall it was ok.

I had the pulled pork dinner, the serving size was generous and the french fries were hot. However, the pulled pork did not have much flavor. It seemed more like steamed pork than smoked! Barbecue sauce was a very thin, watery tomato based sauce without much flavor. Flavorless on top of flavorless

I’ve dined in many times here. For the most part it’s been good. Foos is cooked to order and exceptional. But we ordered on doordash recently and the whole experience was ridiculous. We ordered 2 large bbq plates and a large sandwich plate. We asked for extra bbq sauce specifically. What we got was over $50 of bbq with NO SAUCE. Not even what is supposed to come with it. Some might say that it’s an honest mistake. I disagree. Only a complete absent minded person could send that much bbq out the door with no bbq sauce.

So I love the price and the quality of the food ! The people were super nice and the establishment very clean! The combo was an amazing value. The fried okra was fantastic and the green beans very flavorful! The meat in my opinion was a little bland, which usually leads to award winning sauce. Sadly the sauce was ok and not great. But the meat was all super moist and wicked tender! I would go back and it’s definitely worth a try while in town!

The beverage area is tidy, fully stocked and I like the idea of self service with sauces and condiments.
Thr food however is very lacking. The meats are smoked well, but very blande. Some of the sides taste amazing like the smoked rice, but other like the beans taste canned. The biggest disappointment was the sauce. Even the hot bbq was nothing more than catsup.

I absolutely love the potatoes here… topped with whichever meat you choose and just huge everyone who works there is happy, helpful and nice. My son swears by the hamburger steak dinner and is in love with the green beans

Good food but kind of small portions for the price. Clean and friendly but, you pay for your meal when you order and it asks for a tip, they don’t do anything but bring your food. You get your own drinks, own plastic wear, and your food comes in to go boxes. Also, you throw away your trash when you are done eating. So, why tip?

I think it’s our new bbq spot. The food tastes very “homemade” and service was genuine.
Regular Pork sandwich: nice portions, hit the spot just right and an AWESOME bbq sauce bar. 3 pumps sweet, 1 hot.
Baked beans: oh yes, they actually make them and they’re sooo good.
Potato salad: takes me to a summer bbq, so fresh and refreshing.
Dirty rice: YUM
Bread slices: just white bread
Sweet tea: pretty good, I liked.
Pound cake: these little slices of goodness are just the right touch of sweetness.
Military discount on Wednesday. Can park a truck there, but it’ll be tight, maybe don’t

Adding a 3% fee to every credit card purchase is creepy. You are intentionally avoiding price transparency. No one uses cash anymore but you refuse to add 3% to all of your prices just so it looks like you’re more price competitive than you actually are. I’d rather eat at Dickey’s, there are no hidden fees and they have brisket. How can you call yourself a BBQ restaurant if you don’t even have brisket?

So it was our 1st time being to this restaurant. Walked in and at first thought it was like walking into a cafeteria type place. You walk up stand in line at the front and order your food and they give you a number. The food was not bad but it was not the best BBQ we’ve had. Now it is not to say it is not the best place in town it is just not the best we’ve had. The young lady up front was very nice and the smell when you walk up is very welcoming. We would go back if we are back in town
