I have been eating at dragon almost 8 years. I am so sure that dragon is the best American Chinese Restaurant at Bloomington, even Indiana. Best version of general chicken! Also I would like to mention they have some real good authentic Chinese food too, with little bit higher price. Owners are good people.

Delicious! I got the sesame tofu. The portion was plenty and the white rice that came with it was fluffy and each grain was separate, not clumped. The sauce was really good and not overly sweet. And it all came out super fast. Cash only.

I ordered orange chicken with lo mein noodles and an egg roll. The egg roll and lo mein tasted like they were dipped in dish soap. I paid $18 for my food not to be good and taste like soap. I should have turned around seeing it was no one in here. I would not recommend or return.

I placed an order yesterday using their website system and I was overcharged this morning and I noticed TAPTHRU keeps trying to change my pending order amount even tho I already added on a tip when I paid. I tried to call them but no one answers. I called my bank and disputed the charges and reported TapThru for fraud. I cancelled my card so they can’t charge me anymore. I am filing a complaint with the better business bureau and ftc and my bank is prepared to file fraud charges if the amount isn’t corrected within 7 days. I will never ever order again and I will post to socials to warn others as after checking the reviews this has been an ongoing fraud issue with TapTbru and Dragon for over 5 years now. Uncool and I am so disappointed.

I have been going here for years! Over 20 years and counting! Being here at Indiana University was capped off with one of my favorite restaurants, Dragon Express. It brings back a lot of good memories. The food is great and the hot tea is always free. Still is! I bring my kids who soon will be Hoosiers themselves and they love the Chinese fare. Still great food and still great prices. Recommended.

Old review?!! I’m addicted to this place. The lunch n dinner combos are the way to go. Add pork the fried rice for $1. Eggplant with garlic sauce is of my favorite go tos. Pictured is chicken with Chinese vegetables dinner combo special (with pork fried rice upgrade.)
09/23/22 changed to 3 stars because the food quality and pricing was in Flux for a bit… And I’m already over that the girl at the front, who has an attitude that she has to always be right. It’s Just a bad vibe.
I stopped coming here for a number of months last year before to avoid interactions with her… and a soft spoken guy had taken over the counter and taking orders… and I’d started to come back more regularly again…
Well… Seems she’s back and back to her argumentative ways.
I might have to stop coming here for a while again. **sigh**

If I could give a negative star I would. I walk in and the owners were just staring at me like they didn’t want me there. They didn’t greet or anything.
I wouldn’t mind so much if I paid for food that was not that great but still edible. BUT no, their food is so bad. I ordered chicken fried rice, and the chicken was white. It was so greasy. I was really hungry, but I lost all my appetite. Like how do you mess up on fried rice?? I also ordered steamed dumplings. Omg it was not edible at allll. I swear I’ve been to so many restaurants, I’ve never left a review before. This place is just so horrible. No words will ever be enough to describe how bad it is. I have been traumatized…

this place is absolutely fantastic yall. lady was so kind and thorough at the counter, food is cheap and tastes amazing, only took 5 minutes to get two meals and an appetizer out!!
