Very good customer service. Extremely helpful and attentive. Good atmosphere – several televisions with sports- games playing. A nice salad bar. Full menu can be found on-line. Check out the prices- a little high. Kids menu. Appetizers. Steaks. Burgers. Catfish. Chicken. Desserts. Very large portions. The sirloin steak was very flavorful and cooked as ordered. The turnip greens were tasty- had a smokey flavor. The creamed potatoes appear like instant potatoe flakes and very bland. The Texas toast was very plain and not really toasted. The catfish was very good. The hush puppies were good and had chopped onions and jalapenos. The baked potato was good – fluffy inside- you can get it loaded. Fried okra was nice and crispy.

Always wanted to try after driving by many times so tonight after the game me and my wife stopped in and they were extremely busy but still no wait and really quick then after the food arrived the steak was cooked great and very tender plus the sides were also excellent plus in and out with a full restaurant in a little over an hour was nice will definitely stop in again

They say this is the oldest restaurant in Oxford since 1972. We took my dad there for his birthday last week – he had last ate there in the 1980s! That was far too long and he wanted their crab cakes but they unfortunately don’t make them anymore. Everything else we had was huge portions and delicious though. From the steak, catfish, huge baked potatoes, filling salad bar, jalapeño hushpuppies- I can’t wait to take him there again. They have some homemade cakes too like caramel, coconut and German chocolate.

Note; meals are served on a hot plate, which means the steak will continue to cook. You may want to order your steak a little undercooked so that it will finish at your desired temperature. My steak started out, medium rare and moved to a medium well by the time I finished it.

First time trying it tonight, and it did not disappoint. Our waitress was wonderful and made our dining experience very pleasant.
Love the country fish and steak house feel. The atmosphere is very family friendly, and the food options sounded so good. I went with the large filet mignon medium rare, and they hit the nail on the head. I also had greens with it as well. My husband had the grilled catfish with fries and green beans. It was all good. My daughter had the house breaded chicken nuggets (princess nuggets) with the mac and cheese. I also had the salad bar and was very pleased to see a good variety of toppings as well as the bar being organized, filled, and clean.
The bathroom was clean as well. Thank you for a pleasant dining experience at The Sizzler Steakhouse.

The Sunday buffet had plenty of options, but sadly, flavor was missing from the menu. Bland and unseasoned, definitely not worth a trip back.

Cheese & smoked sausage appetizer was great, small ribeye was more than enough & tasted good, was just a lil tougher than used to; baked potato was nice and soft and I loved that they didn’t use salt on the pealing of the potato because I love to eat the skin & I can’t have a lot of salt; my husbands grilled shrimp & fried fish were average; Mac & cheese was good; tea was good; service was great & everyone was very nice! Keep up the great work! The atmosphere was great too!

First time there and it was great! Got the catfish and my lady got the 16oz Ribeye. It was a feast for sure. They have a classic assortment of southern sides from fried okra, to corn bites, fries, and a load of veggies to choose from. Great Salad bar as well. It can be a bit hard to get into off of Hwy. 6, but the food is worth the turn. Drinks are by the can, but they give you two. I dont think they serve alcohol. It’s a really nice family place, so expect kids and locals from in town. It’s not a place to be picky. Dont expect vegan options or anything like that. Staff were very friendly as well. Not too hard to get too from Oxford, about 8 minutes from the square.

The atmosphere was wonderful. The service was perfection. Everyone of the steaks were cooked perfectly as requested. I do not believe I have ever had a better steak ever! Phenomenal flavor, tenderness, and perfection. This will be the only steak place I go to from here on out! Great job!
