I came here to eat with my dad yesterday and I had such an amazing experience! We were greeted and seated straight away. Then, once we were ready, we ordered and the food was brought out in around 5 minutes! We got fried rice and lo mein! It was all so delicious! The service was quick and so polite. The staff were so welcoming and sweet! I’ll be back again to try out new dishes!!

Good evening Google Family. I visited for the first time today. I have been trying to get here for the longest since a friend, Carolyn told me about it. It is located in the Olde Sproul Shopping Center, where there is plenty of parking and many handicapped spaces are available. I ordered a spring roll, which came with two pieces, mine was shrimp stuffed with vegetables and a summer roll which consists of shrimp, romaine heart and grain rice in a rice pancake. I also ordered shanghai wonton soup. My total was $18.70 and I opted for take out. I left a $2.00 tip. Joey H. was the server. I sat and waited patiently for my order. Of course in the beginning, I could not figure out what I wanted to order. It did not take a long time for my order to appear. I also received a fortune cookie and a tea bag for later use. There was a good vibe here. I did not visit the rest room so I cannot comment on that. A good experience here I had and I would return. Have a good night, workout, be healthy, fit and Fabulous especially for people over 50 years of age.

Nice menu. Great food. Reasonable lunch special list of about 8 choices at $8 +. Not sure I would call it a typical Chinese food restaurant and I mean that in a good way. I felt the food had a bit of Japanese influence or should I say a multi-asian cuisine influence. Spicy chicken was amazing. Szechuan tofu was different than I’ve experienced elsewhere; but the flavor was there with an American spice level of about 3. I sampled the scallion pancake and it didn’t disappoint. Loved it! The dipping sauce it came with was a winner. I will return here to sample more menu items.

The food was not good. The Dan-Dan noodles had no flavor to them. They tasted like spaghetti with some pork on top. The Pork Soup Dumplings were dry and didn’t have any soup in them. The Scallion pancakes were very thick and doughy, not flat and crunchy. The Curry Chicken was very oily and bland. Overall nothing really had much flavor or spice.

Food was disgusting. Who makes dan dan noodles with pasta??? The noodles cant even soak up the sauce. The xiaolongbao was also not edible. The skin was soooo thick and barely cooked. Everything was flavorless. My expectation wasn’t high to start with but didnt expect to be this disappointed. If you want real chinese food, please don’t come here.

It was lovely! The food was delicious and plenty of dishes to choose from. The service was wonderful. The waitress was always there refilling our drinks and bringing our next dish. The dining room was very calming and I really liked the canvas prints on the walls. The scallion pancakes and shu Mai were delicious!

I went here for a solo date today and it was beautiful,
The decor and ambiance of the restaurant was so inviting and quaint.
The manager seated me at a perfect table for myself
And they had live plants too
I ordered the steamed chicken and shiitake dumplings and they were excellent.

The manager helped me to decide offering options, saying the seafood and spinach pan fried dumplings were his favorite.
They came in a cute box and for my first time trying them I enjoyed them thoroughly!

15 dollar card minimum for card users
But I only spent 9 dollars- affordable and friendly service.
10/10

I had a disappointing experience. There were only 3 families, including me, on a Sunday evening (7 pm). They brought my food and never returned — I had to motion for her. I didn’t have high expectations because many dishes are under $10, but I was still disappointed. I ordered Dan Dan noodles and Roti Canai. The roti came out first and the roti itself was extremely oily, to the point that there was oil on the plate. It wasn’t flaky; it was rather flat and saturated with oil, to the point that I had to squeeze it between my napkin to release some of the oil. The dipping sauce was very good. The Dan Dan noodles came with very little minced pork. It came out so hot that it was clear it had been microwaved. It was steaming. There was a huge mound of what tasted like store bought, boxed linguine tossed in a spicy sauce with pickled radish and a small portion of minced pork on top. I told the server that there was very little meat in relation to the portion of noodles. Her response was to say it was a starter dish and that if I wanted more meat she could bring me a side for an extra $2.00. I declined and told her to consider it as feedback: As a starter dish, don’t serve a full mound of noodles and a tiny amount of minced pork. Instead, aim to make the amount of noodles proportional to the amount of meat so that when customers take a bite they have both. As it was, I had a piece or two of meat to a mouthful of all noodles. She shrugged and walked off, so I asked for a to go box and my check.

The food has a very basic taste. It’s not terrible, but it’s also not good either. Decent is the right word. It tastes like something my teenage kids put together with groceries I brought from Acme. Admittedly, I usually go to Nan Zhou Hand Drawn Noodle House, which is a similar price point and they make their noodles in house. I wasn’t expecting homemade noodles but I also wasn’t expecting store bought either. I didn’t feel like making the 25 minute drive to Nan Zhou and I want badly to find a solid noodle restaurant closer to my home so I tried Noodle 88. It’s unlikely I’ll return.

Great lunch here, ordering the spring rolls for my appetizer. They were nice and crunchy, and the sauce that came with it was super flavorful and not a salt bomb. I had the Singapore noodles, and if you like curry you’ll love this dish. Really large portion that hit the spot!

Really excellent little almost pan-asian place in the unlikely spot of the Olde Sproul Mall strip mall, a very welcome addition to the food map in the area. They are a cut above AmChi cuisine, and the eponymous noodles are quite good, although we usually go to other fare when we’re there. The atmosphere is basic casual dining, and it’s not either a place to vibe out or to eat as quickly as possible so you can leave it. I have noticed they deal admirably with larger parties and families with children, and there are slightly separate sections and booths to manage the patrons a bit. This is the place we go to when in the area when we don’t want to think about where we’re going. My only real quibble is the szechuan dumplings tasted odd. I thought it was me the first time, but I tasted them again when another person ordered them on a second visit, and it just be that their own formulation of chili oil isn’t to my liking, but then again it’s proof they’re making things from scratch there, or at least not using the usual off the shelf AmChi ingredients. Recommended, particularly if you want that asian comfort food but not a lot of fuss.
