Service was horrible. We walked in and someone essentially threw menus at us before she ran into the kitchen. I then decided to order the ribs, which claim to be award winning. They are supposed to come with the option of beans or coleslaw. The server didn’t ask which I wanted to so I brought it to her attention that I wanted beans, she said “good because we are out of coleslaw”. Food arrives and there are no beans, the ribs I could barely cut through. Then my colleagues food arrives 5 minutes after mine, and he has a container of coleslaw with his fish and chips. I couldn’t flag down our server to get a refill on our drinks either. I would avoid this, there are so many other around here, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The place was disgusting!.
Went in there for breakfast, My eggs were very old and runny and under cooked.
My pancakes were raw.
The breakfast potatoes were deep fried. ( Another sign of absolutely no culinary talent).
I asked for uncut toast, I was brought unbuttered cut toast. Then when I asked again for uncut toast I never received any toast.
When my friend got his toast it was burnt.
And his breakfast was such a disaster also that neither one of us paid for our breakfast.

I’ve tried this place a few times before I wanted to rate them. So far they’re batting 0 for 3 getting my order right which seems to fall in line with the tables around me. The food is okay but you can expect at least a 45 minute wait from the time you order with a near empty restaurant. The wait only gets longer if they have any type of crowd. They haven’t offered to fix any wrong order yet. They’ll just ask if I’m okay with what they’ve brought me and be on their way. The restaurant itself is pleasant with the exception of the cardboard cars and the Sesame Street mysic. My recommendation is to just walk down the street to the commons area for better options.

Ate dinner at Max’s American Grill with my family. The chili I had was the only thing that was acceptable, but the chips served with it were dyed red and blue. The wings were sub standard, wing sauce was not good and did not stick to the wings and the blue cheese was served in plastic cups. The Cole slaw was a tragedy also served in a plastic cup. How do you mess up out of the box mac n cheese? Served with soggy french fries. The decor was nice. The waitstaff was nice but there is no passion coming out of this kitchen…

First time here waited about 4 minutes before being seated, then they hand me a menu and am told I can find a seat mind you they have a sign that says please wait to be seated. I got a rack of award winning ribs not sure what the award could be for the meat wasn’t seasond and also test like it was freezer burnt before being cooked also not tender or juicy.. Didn’t get a side with it.. Not sure y…. Also service was very bad didnt take any dishes when we were finished all dishes from appetizer till entree was on the table even sitting and talking with my date 15 min after paying.. Would not recommend.

THE FOOD HERE IS HORRIBLE! I went here after my college orientation and I was very very disappointed. I ordered a chicken Marsala and EVERYTHING was bad. The rice was bad and the vegetables were disgusting. Please do yourself a favor and save your money or at least go spend it somewhere else.

Go out for breakfast, expensive, greasy and just not good. No one likes the 50s theme anymore. Hope they change it after renovations. Over easy eggs where hard and veggie omelette had hardly anything in it. I need pepto after all the butter
